Wanted to know if I spoke Spanish. When I said "no" they hung up. How rude. Yet another scan on unsuspecting residents of the U.S.. Is the Government doing anything about this?

they called and asked for my mother by her full name. when i told them my mother wasn't home they asked when they could reach her then hung up.

I just received the same call/inquiry. They mentioned my last name in Spanish (although I mistakenly thought it might be Italian since I have family over there) so I answered yes repeating my last name, the person then asked if I spoke Spanish in both Spanish then English, when I said no they said, "Ok sorry I don't speak English, God bless" then hung up. Very odd, can't help but wonder what their scam is???

A scam. Only speak in Spanish when they call.
