I have been getting calls from this number for about a week but they seem to call when I am out and don't leave a message.  Thanks a lot for the tips.  If I see it come up I will not answer.  But how do we get rid of them?????

Well I have recieved the same phone call the last three days in a row. Stating on Sunday which I find strange considering that seem to be the only day telemarketers do not call your house. I had just put my 7 month old baby to sleep and the phone rang and woke her up then there was a man on the onther end of the phone claiming to be with primus I told them I was not interested. The following day around the same time he called again!!!! He went through the same speel as they did with Dumbledore (above) told him many times that I could not understand what he was saying and I was not interested. He would not taqke no for an answer then he proceded to ask my date of birth that is when I hung up the phone. You would think they would get the drift!!! NO!!!! they called agin today this time a woman that I could not understand what she was saying. Very pissed off at this point again putting my very cranky 7 month old to sleep... Told her this was the third time they had called I was not interested and if they call again they will get a VERY loud surpise in the phone!!! I was reading on another web page where they blew an air horn into the phone.... Does not sound very nice but if you can not take no for an answer you deserve what you get.

Well these people called again 3rd day in a row, this time when they called i screamed WHAT! instead of saying hello,

when the guy began his little speech saying he was calling from Primus, i gave him heck for harassing me, and asked if he wanted to pay for my artificial leg if i missed the call to come in to be fitted for it, due to them tying up my phone line with their ignorance by calling and not replying when we answerer the phone.... he just hung up...

My service provider offers call blocking for up to 32 phone numbers, they get a recording that says, I am not accepting calls from this number...doesn't work for all soliciters just the repeat ones.... Check your providers web site...

I got this call today, it was Primus Canada (im located in Ontario Canada)
they were offering me long distance plans, saying that theyc an beat my current rates blah blah blah with amonthly rate of whatever

my crrent company is half their rate,a nd no monthly fees, so i talked with him a bit, got himt o say some stupid things that didnt make sence to purchase it.

He said alot of senior citizens like this plan, and he thinks its the best plan for me, (im 26 go figure thats the new senior)
so i asked where he was callign from, he said the head office is in Markham Ont, i said NO where are you calling from. he said India, so im assuming this is possably a VOiP call outsourced..

Sorry, but if someone from the Ontario head office is not going to call me personally, im not giving them my money

This number calls me a couple of times per week. I've answered once in the past. I said "hello" and gave them approx. 5 seconds to respond, but nothing...I then continued to shout "why call if you're not gonna talk?", a few seconds later the person at the other end of the line hung up on me..hmm

For the past 2 - 3 days I have had the above number on my call display screen. They never leave a message and it is very annoying. With all the scams now a lot of times you never know if you should answer or not. I figure if you don't leave a message, it is not important. I would love to be able to have control over who calls me, and get rid of the telemarketing calls.

THAT number called me today but I didnt even notice what it said I just knew it was long distance and figured it was collections. But I saw the number and totally tripped out. My mom said it called yesterday and ive been thinking about it ALL day.. then i decided to google it. MAYBE IT'S THE OTHERS!!

this number called me and it was buddy from primus, who was speaking in a combination of east indian and engilish trying to save me 4$ off my long distnace in candada and the U.S. (wtf)? so I decided to stay on the phone and play along with his little scheme... during the conversation I heard at least 2 different english speaking people in the background telling him what to say (or how to pronounce words) I eventually asked him what he was trying to offer me, and he just repeated his whole international plan speech, after about the millionth time I asked him what he was saying I said goodbye and hung up... next time they call I am going to speak in a deep accent french or irish accent so that they wont be able to make out a word , and contintue doing so until they stop calling, either that or i'll ask to speak to the nearest person who speaks english and tell him to f*** off

I have received a lot of calls from this number. I do not answer ever. If there is an unkwon number or private name, do not answer.I leave my mailbox full to avoid having to listen to these nasty messages.

Just had these idiots call me now two days in a row, why this is allowed by the phone companies is beyond me, but I will call trace them 'til the cows come home or they disappear...can't wait for that September 2008 launch of the National Do Not Call List!!!!!!

I live in Sask and have had that number on my call display several times this week. Last night my husband answered and some woman, whom he could hardly understand, asked him what long distance company we used. My husband said he wasn't interested and hung up. I see they called again today though. These telemarketers NEVER give up. We had a 416 number call us about three times a day for over six months! They called as early as 8:00 am, and as late as 10:00 pm. Even on Sundays. We never answered once.
It should be illegal for any telemarketer to have an unlisted number, as well as not display their company name.

I started to receive phone calls from this number after I told a telemarketer to buzz off. I think he got mad and added my phone number to some kind of computer phone scam program, in order to punish me.

Recently a lot of telemarketers atack my home phone number. I work nights, so I have to rest during a daytime. Telemarketers start to call. My mom asks me to keep the phone on (for the case of emmergency), so I have to keep it on. Telemarketers call and call, despite I talk to their managers, requesting to take my phone number from their system out. Once I got really mad, 'cause even when I told him that I was sleeping, he kept asking questions and insisting to tell my name and if I was older than 18 y.o. etc. etc... I snapped, told him to buzz off and hang up the phone.

Right after that those 1234567890 calles started. I suspect there is some kind of phone scam programs hackers make with different purposes.

I'm gonna get a pager for my mom, switch the phone off while I sleep and let them bother. As my grandma used to say: "If you cannot avoid a rape, relax and try to enjoy it".

got home today and seen the number on my caller ID 1-123-456-7890. I tried to call it back and it's didn't even finish the call and the operator stated the call couldn't go through as dialed blah,blah. I thought it might have been Telus as I reported a lost/stole cell phone last night and thought they may have recovered it and were calling me back to tell me that, so I tried to do a reverse look up to see where the number came from and got this sight. still don't know what is  going on, however I am going to call telus later and see if they did try and contact me, or if it's the same thing that has happend to the above ppl.

Shouldn't be too difficult to remember not to pick up again on this number as long as one can count to 10 :)

I too have received several of these calls from 123-465-7890 this week.  Generally there is no one on the other end when I answer (usually on my wireless handset, as it doesn't have caller display, and I end up going to the wired phone that does have it to see what the number is).  Today, I got the same Mid-East accent as is mentioned in prior postings, asking to speak to Mr. or Mrs. Jones.  Being a single person, I replied with there is no Mr. Jones, and ask who is this, and what are you selling.  He then insists on speaking to "Mrs." Jones, which annoyed the heck out of me, and I replied with there is no "Mrs." Jones, (heavy on the sarcasm), and again said who is this and asked what he was selling.  He then responded with "Oh, I must have the wrong number, and hung up.  That's when I came online to find out if I could see where these calls were coming from, and found this site.  As I have a relatively new phone number, and have only given it to friends and family, the only thing I can think of is a computer is randomly dialing numbers until they get a warm body on the other end, and before they come on and speak, they are trying to find out the name that is registered to the number that answered, before they come on the line.

I was callin to my provaider (Rogers) and they told me  they can`t blockin the numbers.So,that means I have  just 2 ways to shut em up:first one I need to order the "blockin option" from Rogers(4$) and another one  call the pollice.The second way does seem too foolish to do,so that meabs i almost have no another way unless payin money for  blockin this s**t :(

I keep getting calls from this number also.  I live in the GTA and have been called everyday this week from this number.  I usually pickup and then yell at them and then hang up.  The call quality is terrible and their accents make them difficult to understand.  They say they are calling for primus, but I doubt it.
