got this cal sayin contact anna urgently on above numbe and quote refernce code bla bla.... rang em from privet number and an indian guy answered the phone.. wanted my details etc.. i said you should have em in front of you. he says yeas but for security reasons they need it.. my mobile number is private so how they got it i dont know. and told em i am not givin personal details like address and dob to some strange number i got via text with nothin to prove they are who they say they are.. the say they are dun and bradbury a debt collectors in victoria but i doubt the authenticity as they have foreign people anwserin phone.. dont risk it.. i contacte my mate that works for dep of fair tradin and he said he has heard a lot about this and it is a scam... and not to give me anything..

I just recieved a text message from this number +61416907210, asking me to call Kay urgently regarding ref 23059233...i didn't recognise the number so I googled it and found this site. If it's a hoax and they're after my details i'm glad i didn't call it back.

they sent me a text message today too. I rang Dunn & Bradstreet direct who know nothing about it :(   Dodgy

I got a SMS from this no. stating call urgent on this no. quoting 23059385.

Please contact Karen urgently on 1300003894 and quote 23069177 before 9pm est. Thank you. To opt-out reply with N

The "opt-out" line is what made me suspicious and sounds like a scam to me.

i have recieved this message as well.  i called the number and it was Dunn & Bradstreet about a matter that was over 3 years old for an electricity company, which i had previously confirmed through the electricity provider that the debt is non-existant....  D & B said that they are apparently 'looking into it' with the electricity company...

After speaking to the electricity company they said to be wary...WTF??? go figure

got the same message from dun and bradbury.... called the office of fair trading in Qld Brisbane.. told not to give any details out. It is a scam... tell all your friends

Actually got a TELEGRAM Upon opening it it said "an urgent and sensitive matter to call this number 1300003894 and quote a number'. Didnt bother because i googled the phone number and ended up here, God bless google and this website and all of you for sharing, cheers folks!

I got the same message the other day to call this number before 8pm as it was "an urgent issue". Gave me a reference number and to opt-out reply with N. So glad I didn't call it back.

i was call back and give some detail as well.. what can i do now?

URGENT! Pls call 1300 003 894 quoting (ref number) regarding a sensitive matter before 8pm EST. Reply N to opt out. Thankyou.
I had no idea people could do scams this way. Luckily, I googled the number first and by surprise I found this site with others who have been contacted by the same number. Thanks to this site there is no way I will call. I am a little gullible but once I saw the 'Reply N to opt out' that made me very suspicious.
I am very amazed how am not the only one. I have also googled Dun & Bradbury Street and it comes up with nothing...so I wouldn't be surprised if this is a scam. To all...please warn everyone you know about this.

Is it Dun & Bradstreet or Dun & Bradbury?? I have googled both names, Dun & Bradbury comes up with nothin nut Dun & Bradstreet does. Either either, it must be the same company. Just reading through the comments it sounds like the same place. Please people, tell everyone you know...

received telegram from 1300 003 894 regarding "an urgent & sensitive matter", who knows what this is & after finding this site I doubt I'll call them
address on the front is po box 7405 st.kilda rd melbourne 3004, but that may just be the post office return address, but it might also be dun & bradstreet

Got the above telegram today with the same 1300 number requesting to call back. not feeling urgent or sensitive enough to call back obviously.

Got a wake up call 8am in the morning demanding me to disclose details.
Receive a SMS today asking me to call this no. and quote ref. no.

Is there an authority I can report this ?

Yea mate of mine recieved a telegram didn't even no anyone still sent used them they didn't call the wanted him to call them on the 1300 number every one has sed thank god for this site life saver
