This is a scam - charges onto your phone account - $20.05 total all on the same day at the same time!!!!!! Everyone needs to check and double check their phone accounts.  This comes on as Third Party Purchases!!!!!!!  Trying to get refunds!!!!!

3rd Party Charges on mobile bill last two months. 3 items at  $6.60 each on each bill. example item2jkyWQq4, Purchase19933333MT.  ABN 98108798223 which apparantly belongs to someone else.

Got my phone bill today - $45 worth of charges  from a company called Open Market. I rang them and this is how the conversation went

Receiver: Hello Open Market
Me: Hi, I received my phone bill today and got some charges from your company.
Receiver: The person you need to speak to is Adam and he is at lunch.  If you give me your name and number I will get him to call you back.
Me:When will he be back from lunch?
Receiver: I don't know, 20-30 minutes.
Me:I'll call back then.
Call terminated.

These guys are VERY cool customers.  They are pros and good scammers.  ABN details

MX Telecom still trades overseas - can't believe they are allowed to get away with this.

They're scamming me now as well. 2 x $6.60 charges each week for the last 5 weeks. Each of the 2 charges is in the same minute.

Telstra still haven't refunded last months scam charges (and obviously haven't done anything about blocking these criminals). They're obviously happy to keep picking up their share of the charges!

Same - 4 items at $6.60.  Range to cancel as advised by Telstra, automatic reply, so hope info fed in will actually cancel.

Yep. Same here. 10 x $6.60. 4 calls billed at the same time. 2 more each for next 3 days. Amazing that telecommunications Ombudsman has had so many complaints about this company yet nothing is happening.

"Ye" I am getting charged even when they SMS me and I don't answer. Had to get Telstra to block them.

How can I get OPENMARKET (1300760083)  calls blocked by TELSTRA. This is the second month I have been stung for $20.00, apparently provide by NXTELE

I have had this happen to me, has anyone been able to stop them doing it, i have been charged over  $80, need to know what to do.  Will telstra help if I ring them

I have had the same problem,i got in touch with Telstra and they blocked them from sendig anything to my phone,hope this helps

Got charged 2 x $6.60 on same day and time. Read message and cancelled receiving calls on mobile service. No further charges but will monitor January carefully. Will also contact Telstra to have them blocked. Will also check out blocking the number myself on my mobile.

At least with your info I have something to go off I have a friend who is a Journalist for a TV station might have words with her and see if we can get the ombudsman telestra get altogether and see who blames who and which one is going to pay back all the monies taken from us all

Last month $75 & this mth  $60  . I win don't open  messages . I delete them all the time . Telstra have been helpful but the no. The no. They gave to screamSTOP these messages is not an sms no. &Davis me to ring . Ha  no one answers it

The messages come from an Apple Ipad competition.  To have answered the questions they sneek in a subscrition in order to continue.  This is how they get away with the charges, and there is aparently no way of getting your money back, you have to unsubscribe to stop them.  The number to call is 1300 136 616.......They stung me a hunge a month the rotten [***]!  Hope this helps   :)

Did you get a refund I have it all over my mobile bills for months now

We have been getting charged 20.00 a month for god knows how long cause we having been getting a bill, some how they put a stop to it, we went to Telstra and ask why we were getting a bill and what this third party purchases are, they said it must be something we are doing with our iPhone but when the charges go on we are at work ????, I questioned it they said it happens some times, I rang the number and was. On hold for a long time, to get a message to say that the person I was ringing wasn't there, how do I get this stopped

OpenMarket are a mobile aggregator from their website, so they're not the ones actually running the charges - they just provide connections for companies. You should be able to text STOP in reply to the messages - this is just a normal SMS cost.
