This is a scam, do not call it back.

They do no collect for Optus, and they would only be calling you if you owe money. It is not a scam.

Yes, they are #$%#@ debt collectors and ring at all times of night.

Rather than use their painful automated "leave a message and we will get back to you" service, call one of their employees directly on 03 8643 5530, even if he cant help you will be put throught to an actual person.

i received an email from Kay Carter and he is from ncml.com.au. I don't have any credit cards with them and I don't live in Australia but he sent me this.

Dear Mr Malonzo,

I have attempted to contact you with respect to your NAB Credit Card Account No. 4557025678506607.

Again you have fallen into arrears with respect to the Court Order to pay $200 per fortnight.  There are arrears of $400.00 outstanding.
To avoid having this matter referred back to court (which would incur further interest and costs) please ensure that you pay the sum of $400.00 by 15th May 2013

Please note that once that payment is made a further payment of $200.00 would then become due on 22 May 2013 and each Wednesday fortnight thereafter.

This number belongs to National Credit Managment. Thet are a debit collection agency.

I received a message asking me to call regarding an important matter.

They sent me messege that we have an important matter to discuss with you, when i call back them, they ask my deatil, name,date of birth and address so i asked them if i have any outstanding you should have my information, no need to give information, its scam.

Dax, they DO have your details. The reason they ask for you to provide them is similar to a security question. They need to make sure they're speaking to the right person before the divulge confidential info (ie - your debt)

left no message. unknown number. will not call back an unknown number and no message... this is a type of one ring scam...
