This same number has just called my mobile.  It said IA, USA.  I didn't answer, no idea who it is.

I've just had a missed call from this number too.

Me to must be a scam bit of a coincidence that all the calls are around the same time though

Same here - I call came at 10am UK time, which must be about 2-3 am US time - bizzare. I answered because I though it could be my sister who lives in Illinois (next door to Iowa) but there was silence, then beep and an automated voice said "good bye" and the call ended... Weird...

Had a call at about 11am UK time.  Saw number and didn't answer as I suspected it to be international. Just out of interest, what mobile provider is everyone with? I'm with O2 and just weird that this happened after the "crash" yesterday.

Iam on Orange/T-Moble, I just cal a call from 001519093569, just silence then an automated "goodbye", sounds similar to the above posts, what is it? Am i getting scammed?

Rang by house phone then my cell at 12.20  I'm in England,
I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

I answered and they were calling from Bolton, Lancashire even though it said IA, USA on my phone!  They supposedly can reduce my unsecured credit.........................................

Also got a call 4.15 pm uk. Same number. I did not answer.

As with everyone else. Didn't answer it though.

I just had this call five minutes ago but I didn't answer as I panicked. glad i'm not alone here. Wonder what it is.....

just received a call from this number. O2 customer in UK if that makes any difference.

Had a 20 minute debate about how he could reduce my debt by 75% by finding commas where there should have been full stops, other typos or 'breaches' of contract. I introduced him to the morals surrounding not paying back the debt in which you knew about and whole heartedly agreed to when.entering in to the contract.

Don't be scared of these people. Use them as a 30 minute source of entertainment. Learn other peoples (granted commonly indoctrinated ) views on things. Question what their doing. Ask intelligent intricate questions about the process. Then question their validity when they declare that you'll have to speak to their senior.

The poor chap (Lewis) may be able to 'help' some people. However I found he couldn't answer  my questions satisfactorily. Plus if I wanted help with my finance I would seek it out.

Pretty sure its eBay, they emailed me to say they tried to ring after this number appeared on my phone. They were chasing up a problem I had.
