Yesterday they called 6 times. What did they want?

Rcvd call at 9:35 pm saying it was our cell phone carrier and we've just been credited $450 into our acct as a Christmas gift and we could log on to check.  Think I'll just call tomorrow.

I got a call from this number telling me I got $660 taken off my next att bill and to get it I had to visit www.att660.com . I googled it to see what it was all about and there was absolutely nothing which is even more terrifying than getting a scam call.

I received the exact same call at 11:30 am today and I called AT&T directly to verify. They said they have absolutely no record of any calls- even automated- sent to me today, and if they had contacted me for even a promotional reason there would be a record of it. They said it is almost assuredly a phishing scam, and advised me not to enter my info. I asked if the information about this scam would be passed on though he proper channels and I was assured it would be, so hopefully they will contact their customers and make them aware of this scam before too many people become victims!

Just got a call today... Called SPRINT... They had no clue what that number could be. I recommend not picking it up. No message = Not Urgent!

I got a couple calls today from this number and it was cutting out on the msg. I believe it was the RCVD or something like someone said above... I really couldnt understand them because it was cutting out. They said something about $450 and to log into my account and then something about verizon. I pretty much figured out it was scam instantly because I no longer am with verizon as of a month ago. Plus the connection was horrid. Do not go to whatever website they are saying!

Called and said they would take $135.00 off of next bill..Said it was Verizon and to contact a www. something,didn't get it all. Is it fraud?

They left me a voice mail that said to go to a website vzw200 .com . When you go it's a real Verizon site but don't be fooled!! When you hover over the sign in button to get your discount the link is for a complete different site like Zulu .com

Yup, it's a SCAM.  They called me twice.  The last time they said to go to website vzw265 .com.  It's a good copy of the site, but indeed if you hover over the "Sign In" button it says Zulu956.startdedicated .com and not verizonwireless.com (which is the correct site.)  When I searched on the age of the vzw265 website it said it was Zero days old!!!

Fake sales people,and fake bill collectors.
Do not give out any info to fakers.  
It is the callers job to tell you what  the call is all about,and not the other way around.
Frauds are everywhere on the Internet,so never give out too much info.
If someone says to you,what are you hiding,just say,i do not give out my private info to strangers.    
Any info that you give out to strangers,could be used against you.

i got same call today, 1-800-000-0000

it says it credit card services and my account need to be discussed with me, i need to call the number, but i hung up the phone.

Unknown call and answered,, several times have received these calls, I really never answer, who or whatever is calling   never leaves any message.
It could be some hacker trying to infiltrate into my system or should I say our system.
