I have been getting calls from these people for the past year always saying it is an urgent business matter and that they need my dob.  When I ask who they are from they say Transpacific Global Services and they cannot tell me what it is about until i give them dob  When i question them further they become abusive and hang up

Yeah I received a call from them just then (Transpacific), some guy asking for my father in whom the "manager" is filing a lawsuit against him... lol. Real sketchy stuff, the caller refused to give me any details. He told me to call them back at 1800213738 to discuss these "important matters". No thanks.

It's a debt collection company based in India. One of the accounts manager (if there is such a title in India) goes by the name of Peter Williams (he's Indian??) He's email is peter.williams@byondglobal.com, there is also a Christopher Andrews, who is suppose to be a customer service consultant.

All these people are based in India, now unless every European have decided to go work in a "semi third world" country, why must they persist to be someone they are not and be so rude about it.

This [***] call me and left a message on my answering machine- urgent business matter asked them call back on 1800213738. Believe me if they call me again I will push them back where this [***] born from, [***] business. Please obtain more information if they call you and report for fraud agency. I have attempted to call this Number back but rang out them RVA "Not in service"

did head kept leaving me voice msgs.. i called to tell them to [***] off.. they kept insisting my name was jesse. told them i dont know a jesse. no matter how many times i told him im not jesse and dont know a jesse. he kept insisting on spelling jesse. i gave him quite a mouth full and abused the [***] out of him but he just wouldnt shut up. couldnt even make out half the [***] he was saying. i refused to give him any information.

I have had so many of these calls. The person they are looking for is my name but not my DOB or address.  They say they wont ring again but they do. I have spoken to a Paul schofield, james and a supervisor Michael Wilson. Every time they say they are going to delete my phone number but they keeping ringing me.
They want all the info under the sun from me but I am not allowed to ask them for anything.

1800 213 738 - they called and asked for me but I gave the phone to my partner 5 years ago and haven't used that phone since. But whitepages.com.au shows the number as belonging to me.

I'm guessing they trawl whitepages looking for numbers to call to see who they can scam. Thankfully my other half is savvy enough not to give them any info.

I received 5 calls from them asking for my wife. I told them that I was her and it had him f--ked. He ask my date of birth and when I would not give it he got shittie and said that I was not my wife. I told him she had left me and he would have to ring her solicitor and gave him the phone number of the local police station. I have not heard back.

My brother-in-law died in February 2007. He had borrowed from GE many years ago and at the time was staying (briefly) at my home, hence he used that as his address.  Somehow Sean and his mates (e.g. Max Weller - not Sam) found my 'phone number and on 3 occasions (so far) have,in their finest Indian accents, been haranguing and threatening ,firstly my wife, then my youngest daughter and now me. They insist that we send a death certificate and i insist that they can go and suck eggs - I explained that I would only consider sending a copy of the death certificate if I received a written request from Transpacific. They don't seem to understand about writing and letters. Ho hum.

Yes the little rats assume anglo saxon names as though that will give them some kind of credibility, then are rude and have a holier than thou attitude, geez US when you need another little war can you nuke India and Pakistan!!! %&^%$*%

these rubbish people just call once week to give people the shites, they need to be cleaned up .They are rude,disrespectful,arogant vile people who need there heads checked.they won't even say who they work for,the rubbish people that they are?

why ring up people and not say who you are  who you work for,just ring people and make them sick this is an outrage.

I've been getting the same from them for 2 weeks now.
3 messages, spoke to him the 4th time and told him the person he was after didn't live here, 5th time today I insisted on speaking to the supervisor and I made it very clear I didn't want any more calls from them.

i get calls from these people day and night they say there gonna stop ringing but they still call and they even got my parents number but dont know how,im sick of these fuk wits and they always change there names,they also once told my husband that there fukin his sister i can not believe these people there abnormal!!!!!!!!!!.

As of recently we've had these pricks ring us too - they refuse to leave us alone. They ask to speak to my mother (who is away) and we passed on the message. She had never heard of them before and asked us to tell them to go away - so we did but they keep on ringing - including 7am on a Saturday morning for christ sake! After reading what everyone else has said then it gives me some idea as to how full of [***] they really are.

These guys have been calling me for years, continually harassing me - wanting my DOB and other personal information, which I steadfastly refuse everytime. I have since added all "private" numbers to my auto reject list on my mobile, though this doesn't stop Transpacific from leaving messages all the time. One time I had 4 missed calls in a row from private numbers (the auto reject just shows who the call is coming from) then vmail msgs in their lovely Indian accent to call back their number and quote reference number for an important business matter.

They are so so so rude. I think once long ago I asked for an itemised breakdown on what I allegedly owed - so it can be posted to the mailing address they had so it can be done in writing - still waiting for that.

I have dealt with other debt collectors and have made payment arrangements with all the others as they have provided me information - these guys just sound like a bunch of criminals - if you owe them money and ask for an itemised invoice, I don't think that's too much to ask.

Though it gets better, i got a call from them tonight using a very short number that appeared on my mobile +4065. I answered and they kept saying my name but I refused to confirm until the caller said who was calling - that kept going for about a minute until the Indian caller abruptly hung up.

These guys wanted money that i am not sure we owe - how do i find out if we do owe them any money

I have had about 10 calls from "Charles" at Transpacific. Have repeatedly refused to give him my DOB and last time told him not to call again under any circumstances. He is a persistent little bugger (or has no short term memory) - he called again yesterday and left a message asking me to call 1800 213 738. Very happy to find this site, which confirms my suspicions that the calls are scam.

For the past 4 or so years, I have been getting hassled by Transpacific on a monotonously regular basis.  They are looking for someone called "Omar" or "Kylie" and no matter how many times I tell them that's not my name, they persist.  They have the right number, but no other details.  Every time we've taken the complaint up the line and asked them to stop calling, it works for a few months and then the a**holes are back at it.  About 18 months ago, we ended up tracking them back to Repcol, the WA company who owns them.  When I got hassled again 6 months or so ago, I went straight to Repcol who have now (of course) sold Transpacific, so couldn't do a thing about it.  Annoys the hell out of me!  When will something be done about these f***ers?????

And having read some of your other posts, I reckon they're the same [***] who also ring occasionally with an "urgent business matter" asking for my DOB.  Didn't realise they were hassling me twice!
