just noticed on my phone bill that I had made 5 calls to this number.  Crap, wasn't me or anyone else who has access to the phone.

I just received my bill from Telstra with a 32 sec. call to this number costing $13.97. No one in my home made this call. How did I get this charge? I smell a rat. I will follow up with relevant authorities.

got my phone bill today from telstra 3 calls to surfpin games for $1397 each call problem is we were all at work on that day and that time so who called these numbers telstra says it was from my phone. so who is this number and whats it about , i,m sure our jack russel isn't that bored while we are at work to call up surfpin games!!!

we had a call registered on our telstra bill for $36 on 20th Jan. Wed definately did not make this call. has anyone had any luck with telstra getting it removed from your bill?

I thought the same until my son admitted that he dialed the number.

Am on the phone to telstra now. I have one call at $13.97 and they are trying to sort it out. They are checking if it went through the exchange from my landline. Will see how we go. Better to get on top of it before it happens again. Apparently they have no listing for it as a number that's been complained about which I find interesting since it's happened to so many of us.

apparently it's not even a phone call. If you sign up online to this gaming thing, instead of charging your credit card they charge it as a phone call. The lady from Telstra left a message with the company to call me so I'm just waiting on them otherwise I'll have to call them directly. My hubby insists he knows nothing about it so hopefully I'll get somewhere with them.

Telstra(India) said they will not remove the call cost. My Son denies using the phone to call this number for any games.
This paymenr method is used by Surfpin.com. They have software that games use to charge your home phone by simply giving you a number to call and you get a code in return to use on the game.

I have a feeling that there is some shonky business going on with this company as we were not home and did not call these numbers either.
