same happened to me. received $35 bill from same number last month, txted stop. continued to charge us this month an extra $10. what is this... wtf is three doing about this.

Hi all. I have tried SMSing STOP to the number and I have called the 1300 number to unsubscribe and I am still getting the messages. $30 a month is half way to a full tank of petrol and I would rather be doing something with that money. Why should someone be getting free money? Not happy! I will update here as to what happens with THREE.

My wife had 13 of these calls on her phone in the one day. Probably stemmed from an online ad to win something. Rang Optus and they discovered she was subscribed to four of these services. None of this was Optus's fault but they were very helpful. They credited the amounts and provided us with all the unsubscribe numbers that you can text the word STOP to unsubscribe. I asked Optus whether I can block these things and they've placed International call block on accounts which they say should stop issue in future. Definately a scam and I hope these pri*** rot in jail.

it was a 19999986 number, they sent like 7 msgs when i just gave them the number........ very stupid of me, but i've sent STOP to the provider, hope they dont send any more msgs

do we HAVE TO pay these money? is there a way to get the money back? or not pay them?

I received about 10 unsolicited useless text messages before I found out that I was being charged $5 per message.
THREE referred me to SYBASE 365 on 1300 764 265.
SYBASE (the data base company) said they would get MBILL to call me within 2 days.
Neither THREE nor SYBASE told me that I was the victim of a known scam.

go to youmob.... etc. etc and so forth.
i get charged $5 for recieving this message. last bill i was charged $45 and it is paid to my phone service provider the 3 phone company.

I have received a bill for $55.00 worth of these SMS charges with two more on my upcoming bill Telstra have told me! I have contacted the telecommunication Ombudsman who put me on to Telstra Senior Level who I hope will stop this and get a refund, as my bill is paid by Direct Debit and already paid. I think its a disgrace that this should be able to happen through no fault of our own. Apparently they can get your numbers through various ways when you buy a raffle ticket even, the numbers can be sold! I'll let you know what happens if I get a refund or not.

Follow up on above: I had a call from telstra to say I will be credited the money back, maybe you should try contacting the Telecommunications  Ombudsman on 1800 062 058 and see if they can help you They need to be stopped! GOOD LUCK.

I started receiving these about two weeks ago. I sent STOP to the number and nothing happened.

I tried again yesterday after getting $10 charged to my bill and it finally sent me the message telling me I had unsubscribed.

I just looked through my wife's Virgin Mobile pre-paid bills and found 26 text messages over 2 months @ 5.00 each. Virgin claims they donot have any responsibility. Mbill doesn't call back. Does anyone know which Oz goverment authority handles this type of scam?

I have just been charged $90.00 for this rubbish. I responded to a message only once, and a week later my bill has reached $90.00!!!! I have Tried to complain to three, and nothing has happened.... does anybody have ant suggestions?

I received my first two phone bills from Vodafone for a total of $1000, thanks to these stupid premium texts that were coming through at $5 & $7 each! Any time I replied stop to one, I'd keep getting texts from somewhere else. I then had no assistance from Vodafone, who then made me pay off this amount whilst the sim card was barred from use. Then while my phone was barred I was still charged for interest usage, on a card I couldn't use! RIDICULOUS! NEVER USE VODAFONE... I never will again..

Sending the keyword STOP returns you have been unsucbribed. this non requested service commenced when I started with vodafone, mbill.biz advise vodafone receive a share of their revenue. I am seeking a refund of $30 from vodafone and official complaint to the tele ombudsman, this is a scam!!

Help pls!!!! I received these messages every week very annoying with no clue that would be charged, I've just found out that I've been billed for the past 3months 30 bucks a month!!!!  I never once make a call or look in the message,!! Does anybody know how can i get the refund????

I AM NOT INTERESTED IN mBILL mOBILE Services.I want this to b cancelled immediately.I am being charged for no service. This is purely cheating people
