this number when I smsed stop returned a message that I had opted out of the 1800reverse feature. I was charged $4.50 for each time someone tried to reverse and I did not answer

if the above comment is true and you get charged for an sms for _not_ answering a call then this is disgusting abuse of telephone sms usage and should be out-lawed.  We too have got a prem txt sms @ 4.09, with respect to a 1800 reverse call.

I shall be taking this up with my local member of parliament and the telecommunications ombudsman.

I have paid hundreds of dollars for these calls to my daughter's mobile in the last couple of months. I have called the company and Telstra to have them stopped but again this month and apparently next month according to my online bill more charges from this number.
The two numbers that are the worst are 19999738MO & 1992747477MT. These are charges for unaccepted reverse charge calls from 1800mumdad. Talk about a rip off, charging someone for a reverse charge call that someone else makes that hasn't even been accepted. Kids have a falling out, others prank them with these calls and parents have to pay. This must be stopped! NOW!

I just got my phone bill today from vodaphone and I too have a charge on it from this number When i checked the number and what it was it just beeps out no ring tone and my phone said this number is unobtainable.  Are we able to get this reversed from our bill??

Got a reverse call from them today - the snippet it gave sounded like a woman screaming, so I thought I'd better answer just in case it was an emergency. Some French sounding woman talking rather calmly once I answered, who I couldn't understand. Surely this can't be legal.

I just got charged $8.18 from Vodafone for two SMS messages I supposedly received from 19999738. I have no idea what this is or who sent it. There is nothing to indicate where the call came from. Why should I have to pay for this when I did not instigate it?

Two text from 19999738 called Vodafone stayed on hold for 15 min but had the charge reversed.

This is 1300Reverse which is done by someone who has no credit and wants you to call them back. YOu get charged for the message and the call you make to the person who has no credit, so unless it is your family or a very important person just opt out. YOu will get charged for the message anyway? How this can be acceptable I have no clue?

A reverse search on the root number 435-251-8680, turned up a company in the SuperPages called Dynamic Horizons, Inc. with listings in the categories Health & Diet Foods Retail, Health & Diet Foods Wholesale & Manufacturers, and Nonclassified Establishments.

My son just got two charges of $4.50 because his friends tired calling reverse on the mumdad rort. Not happy when his credit is almost up in one night! Surely this can be stopped, someone could really cop a nasty bill if others have it in for them.

Rec'd two charges from 19999738 & have no memory of rejecting the calls. How is that possible?
