- roger| 1 replythis number showed up when someone was calling me from a hotel room in branson, mo. however, i don't think this is specific to that hotel. most likely a re-route of some sort that this hotel and probably other hotels use.
- Call type: Unwanted
- Mikei received this missed call at 1:54pm on 1/15/08 from this number. I don't know who it is and it seems fishy.
- Todo| 1 replyI'm in Southern California and got a barrage of calls around 5pm today. ID showed the 200-000-0000 then several from 52-200-124-7535. That's a Mexico country code. Then got a bunch from a blocked ID.
I get the same story from ATT. I'd have to change my cell number, which I've had for 12 years!! - ericyup just got one from 200 000 0000 and have no idea myself.
- WatsonI just got a call from 1-200-000-0000...I opened up my phone to answer it before I really had a chance to look at the number. There was nobody on the other end of the line, so I just hung up. It just seems so random and fishy!

- Caller: do not know
- Does it really matterThe phone # 200-000-000 and they keep saying that they are from Q & A research and need to speak to the principal of the company. They are SPAM and I hang up on them.
- Caller: Q & A Research
- it's not SPAM. it's a survey.#200-000-0000 is (at least pertaining to Q and A; or q & a; or Q & A research)
is not SPAM. i have worked for them for about a month. or one of their subsidiaries anyway. but when we call on their behalf, we say "calling from q and a research instead of the company i physically work at.
they were contacted by insurance companies to do a study about insurance agency preferences and (agent / broker / producer / csr / owner / principal) perceptions about many companies they may have written business for.
if you work in an insurance agency then one of those companies gave your number to do this study- there are many and i do not know who actually sponsored the study but if you deal with-
ACE
CHUBB
CINCINNATTI
AIG
FIREMEN'S FUND
LIBERTY MUTUAL
HARTFORD
ZURICH
TRAVELERS
and a quite a few others, anyway they (we) were gathering info to give back to the insurance companies. the survey lasted approx 10 to 15 min and was not at all SPAMish. there was even some drawing going on the 28th of this month for $1,500 towards your agency. [***], even i'll admit that it sounds shady. but it is sponsored by a huge company or consortium of them so 4 $1,500 prizes is not that farfetched.
it was annoying for us (callers) and the agency people, because we had to get four sets of samples if possible and called asking for (principals or owners) then (agents that sold personal policies) then (agents that sold commercial policies) and then (customer service representatives). And had to do this several times to satisfy the quota of completed surveys needed. So we didnt always get a "NO" we got vague answers about "not being available" and so a lot of numbers kept getting recirculated into the system, until people got pissed and started asking that we remove them. Sorry to those of you that were truly bothered.
some of you people in offices are real a$$holes and C()nts and some of you are amazing and patient. BTW noone is that important, get off your high horses, chill out.
I wouldnt work in telemarketing, at least not the sales side. but this is opinion gathering. seemed fun, still can be.- Caller: Q and A research; Q & A Research
