Caller wanted my company to give this number one of our company credit card numbers to verify company status, address & our credit rating for free promotional gifts.

Got a call from this number. They talk fast. I kept saying this is in no way a sales call "is that correct and information only" and this will not be added to my phone bill. They hung up. Have your phone company put a lock on your bill. Not allowing anyone to add to it. What a rip. Maybe I can charge Burger Kinger the cost of traveling to pick up mu lunch without them knowing about it. How can another company just ad a charge to your phone bill? Keep an eye out!

On Mon.dec 21,I recieved at least 7 calls in a row. After each call I *69'd them.No one was on the other end. What a pain!!

On 11th august,i received a call at 10.30 pm.....a person spoke in hindi....he was telling my name correctly...i dint know who was it......i made my frnd to talk as dint know hindi,,,,my frnd said that he was speaking vulgar.....he was simply talking for 8 mins...then i said my frnd to cut the line as he couldnt tolerate.....My question is how that person knew my name and y he called me,,,,,,

    So,kindly  help me if anyone knows who calls from this no.....

Sep 25 got 2 calls so far from this number. Let the machine pick up, no message just hung up. So sick of these BS numbers that just hang up.

Claimed to be from Microsoft, said my computer was infected, said to turn it on, I said not right now, they hung up.

I been receiving calls from the 201 00000000 and they just say goodby after 10 seconds of silence, LOL it must be a scam,

Same thing, after 20 seconds of silence, a recorded 'good bye'. What happenned to the DNC list?

Just got a call from them and they said they were from Microsoft and that they wanted me to update my warranty on my computer because they were receiving "error" logs from my computer.  Made me check a bunch of logs on my computer.  They know the average person does not know much about their computer's operating system.
I just got a new computer within the last week so I know this is B.S.  They had my correct name/ e-mail address and phone.  I was already suspicious and then the caller (slight Indian accent) said that the server was down and that he would call me around 12 tomorrow for about 15 minutes to update everything.  Before he hung up, I was already searching for this # on the web.  I am glad it exists and hope others will benefit from my post and those on this site.  I noticed they called me before but never left a message.  I will ignore this caller from now on.  They might want to log onto your computer remotely- Don't let them do it!  I smell scam.  Good Luck and stay alert!

I think they want to get your computer info/ log onto your computer or maybe credit card info.  Don't answer.  They claimed to be Microsoft with me- BS.

I just got the call from a hindi lady telling me she works for M$ and that my computer was "infected"
She asked me what operating system I was on and if I was the administrator. Red flags went up so I asked her why she doesnt know what OS I have it should be on any report M$ gets.

I decided to play with her for a bit and listen to her demands, she told me to open start menu and then I asked what to do next, I told her I knew what I was doing  and she hung up on me.

This is obviously a scam, next time she calls I will play stupid and do a remote assistance with her to gain her IP address which I will post here.

Got call from this number telling me I need to repair my windows operating system.

I get a call almost everyday...the one time I picked it up the man had like an indian acient and was saying some.nonsense about some.program on.my computer no working righ becaus3 of something wrong with my microsoft ...I.was like ni no no.....how u know whats on my computer and what # is this and he couldn't give me a straight omg   right now I jus got a.call fom 201-200-7040   hmmmm...gonna.google.tht noe....somebody do.something with these hackers

I too got a call from these ppl a couple months ago I threw them off when I told them I only buy Mac and have for years! They didn't expect that one. They just called again this time it was to listen and then after a minute. Or less a recorded voice says "goodbye" and the line gets disconnected. Idk but I am still trying to figure it out.

got the phoe call today and tell tell me is from Microsoft, people complain about my computer and ask me if I can go to this website and they offer free diags. I told them If you can give me a phone number that I can verify that you said who you are from Microsoft and I will call you grandpa, the guy with hindi just hang up. what a bs

Got a call from this number and there was silence and then "goodbye".  Have received a couple of these calls.

Seem this is from local scam artist...calls from India call center had been stop.
Look like they got the voters-list..it's illegal to obtain such document, not to say to use it for other purposes.
