told me I had an computer problem....barely spoke English...refused to identify himself....

it rang a couple of times, I answered it and I heard a message that said 'goodbye' and then they hung up.

I received a call from 201-177-2013 when I answered it the recording said "GOODBYE".
I would like to report this number.

Con-artist calling.  First stated that he was calling from Microsoft.  He could not speak English.

It's a scam. They are trying to infect your computer with a virus. DO NOT PARTICIPATE!! Just hang up on them.

got a call from this # but i did not answer and no msg was left on voice mail.  I have read all the comments about caller claiming to repair computers.  Coincidentally I had on line service help 2 times in last 4 days from Avast Support - does someone have access to phone# used by their tech support people ?

I received a call from this number with some Indian sounding guy saying he was from Windows Support and they had been getting messages saying my computer was highly infected. I have great protection so I told him I thought it was a scam. He persisted and I said I'd play along. He proceeded to try and get me to enter my registry file from the start menu, which if I would have done, could have given they access to my computer. I heard some other guy on the phone as well-sounded like he was listing in on the call-I heard him speak. After I gave the guy more grief he just said "f--k" you, f--k you and hung up! Tried calling the # back & guess what? Got a recording saying it was not in service! THIS IS A SCAM! DO NOT TAKE THIS CALL!!!!!!!

They called and I hurried up and put the number in here..be careful not to answer random calls. It says New Jersey, which we don't know anyone there.
