this is from a collection agency.  Global Vant-Edge.  i think they are based in India, which is why they have heavy accents.  you have to submit a request in writing (return receipt requested) to get them to stop

These people calls me about some debt on my creditcard, and tries to rip me off..

Same complaints as listed as others have said. Constantly calling! Global Vantage man tells me about a Sears bill that is 2 yrs overdue and trying to collect on it. Because of medical reasons we filed for bankruptcy and our Sears bill was dismissed in court. They want to know who our attorney was, phone #, etc. When I said that if this was so important, why do they keep calling and not mail anything to me, they hung up.

We get a call from this number 4-5 times a day. Mid-East accent and very rude. Asked them not to call here 5 times a day and "extremely" rude caller says "I will call 6 times a day. I am on No-Call registry and this person is in violation of that.

Have called repeatedly in the last week. I was just hanging up on them, because I would pick up with no response. But on the last call some Indian guy asked for me badly butchering my hard to pronounce name (well if you're indian). I simply responded nope no one here by that name. Now I call them when I get bored using *67 so my number shows restricted and talk gibberish to them. What's fair is fair.

These people call over and over again and ask for someone i know but does not live at my house. They keep asking for her phone number and i do not give anyone's number to anybody. They have an accent, Indian or something. When I ask for there name and the name of their manager, they hang up. Next time the number shows on my caller id, they won't talk, just hang up.Yesterday i told them I was reporting them for harrassment and last night a different number started showing up on my caller id  1-800-943-3022. I told them they were a scam on the second call and they immediately hung up.

These people are calling me and cussing me because I told them not to call again! They are totally crazy! How do we get them to stop?

Ii got several from this number with an australian accent but hung up since it was a recording.

Got a call from someone who knew my husband's first name and called me by my last name. He had an accent and asked if I had a relative with the same last name. I said "no" and he hung up.

Received three calls in past 5 days, asking for someone named steven d rice jr. Don't know who this person is am being told his Sears account needs to be paid in full. Keep telling this person on the phone, who I am sure is located in India I am not him, and to stop calling. What a scam.

I suggest we bombard the phone #201 210-3618, or 866 877-0026 with calls and just be as annoying as possible. If a fax machine is available I would suggest using it.

I have had the same call from a "Sean Williams" (obviously middle eastern).  However since reading these, I think the company may be "Global VantEdge", a company who supposedly abides by US laws.  I am irritated and just spoke to the particular sales person about the same issues regarding a "potential" relative.  I would not let them know any information either, but believe they are attempting to collect on delinquent accounts incorrectly or unlawfully.

I called them directly. I spoke with a guy named Alex. Apparently, they can call  my number 5 times a day looking for someone named Tanya, but can't look up any info on how NOT to call my number anymore. The guy was not the brightest. He asked for the same info several times until he actually got it correct. I believe this is a scam, and anyone who gets a call from them should be very careful about the info they give out.

Ok i dont get why the hell they call my cell phone!  those numbers should not be able to be given out any where!  this is ridiculous.  I have recieved two calls today from them.  I work at night so if they call during the morning hours i will never pick up, they never leave a message at all.  Im tired of this bull!  I will never answer a call from some number i dont know, i have all my friends and family programmed into my phone so they will show up, if some number shows up, i will never answer it.  If they dont leave a message how do i know its for me or for someone else when i am sleeping when they call?  they sound like they are retarded after reading all of your comments.

i recieved a call from this number this morning and the person knew my name even tho i am unlisted. a very strong Irish accent, maybe because my last name could be irish or i had been reading some ST.Patricks jokes online. they asked for my cousin desmond miller who they said lives in Fla.

Is this at all phone company related? I get the suspicious feeling our cell phone service provider (NET10, a cheap pre-paid phone service) is selling us out. Anyway, I keep getting calls for a "Christina Peters" and a "Joseph Peters". Me and my bro figured our number could've belonged to someone else previously but after searching for the number on Google it turns out they're a scam-machine. Luckily we've been doing the right thing the entire time by pretending not to speak English and making funny sound effects in response to their questions. Also worthy of mentioning, the man on the phone was extremely unprofessional, a sure-fire sign of scammers.

Keep getting calls from this number. Never answer, just shows up on my caller id.

Call Cheryl Franklin at 415-925-2777 and tell her to have your phone number removed from their list.  It seems to have worked like a charm.

Do not engage the people who are calling you.  Do not ask them questions or give them any information or ask for their supervisor; do not return their calls if they leave a message.  Don’t even answer the phone if you have caller ID and recognize the 201-210-3618 number.  

After reading messages on several web sites from dozens and dozens of people in my situation—receiving constant phone calls for months from people in India using a NJ number and asking for someone I’ve never heard of—I did some sleuthing on the web.  There is some serious doubt about this company’s practices; many suspect it’s all a scam.  The company is apparently a collection agency called Global Vantedge (note spelling).  Through the Better Business Bureau web site, I got their Calif. phone number and left a message over the weekend demanding to be removed from their call list.  First thing on Monday morning, Cheryl Franklin called me back to say it’s been done and that if I get another call from the NJ number to let her know.  Haven’t received any calls since.

These people call and demand to talk to someone (I can't understand exactly, but it sounds like Heyal Raymon) and I've told them that they have the wrong number, that such a person is unknown to us and that this is not their number. They got RUDE with me and started spelling the person's name and asking me if I was sure they're not at home.  I've reported them to the DO Not Call registry, and I hope they get the maximum $11,000 per call fine, as they've called me 7 times in 3 days.

I keep getting calls for a Neil Labelle from various numbers.  All callers that I have identified have been bank collections and also Scientology Telemarketing.  One guy claimed that Neil Labelle called and his caller ID had my number in it, so I guess there was either some caller-ID spoofing or calling party lying ongoing.  I do not know if any of the many Neil Labelles of the world is involved or also innocent victims of an identity theft scam.
