Left a message saying to call Verizon about my account.

This is from Verizon billing-- your bill is overdue or late.

The calls from 201-210-5681 are from Verizon Wireless. They have a ton of different phone numbers that they can call you from instead of using an 800 number on your caller ID they use one with an area code. This number is from the East Coast, which I do not live in. Unless someone spoofs this number, it is Verizon wanting their money. You can always call their toll free number or dial 611 from your Verizon Wireless phone if that makes you feel safer.

Why would Verizon use an AT&T landline, they are their own phone company. All of my Verizon "collection calls" are from the Seattle area, the WEST Coast! In my area there is a HUGE phone scam going on.
And to make my point-- I do not have an overdue Verizon Bill.

We live in Oklahoma and don't have a Verizon phone or service from them and yet we still get calls from this #.

I had an account overdue almost a week -although I'd called and gave them  the date it would be brought current- I still received various calls every few hours.  

Some calls left messages, others did not.  The only option available to the phone messages was an immediate credit card payment.  No possibility of speaking to anyone.  Just your nose pushed into their PAY US! blood funnel.

We got a call from this number and they just said they were Verizon but they hung up 1/4 of the way through on our voice mail. We called 611 and our verizon bill is just fine! What a scamm number!

Stop calling me! I have no idea the whereabouts of Michael CosgroveMichael. And stop using different numbers!
