Thest people are from "PC Mechanic", saying they are an affiliate of Microsoft..  They have been constantly calling me from their toll free # using a 999 area code to block any tracing of their call.
They want you to enter a code into your computer that allowes them access into your system to supposedly do repairs.

I continue to get phone calls from 000-000-0000 and they are telling me they are part of Microsoft and want to repair my computer as it is infected.  They want me to go to www.supportme.com and put in a code to allow them to access my computer.

Now they are calling me an "unknown" number.

I have received a call from this number saying my PC would crash if I didn't fix a problem with the Windows program. I called Microsoft to see if it was legit. They said Microsoft doesn't operate this way & they don't know anything about this company.

A moment ago (Fri, Sept 7th '12) I received a call from "Grace" supposedly working for "G-Tech" or "Z-Tech" Support, and stating that they have been getting 'messages' from my girlfriend's computer that it was somehow not working properly or infected.

What was interesting is that 'Grace' knew the full name of my girlfriend (probably picked it out of a 411 listing), and 'Grace' provided her name, the name of her company, and the phone number 201.234.4604 asking that my girlfriend call her back after work today to discuss the supposed computer problem.

Seems somewhat bogus to me that they've been receiving 'messages' from my GF's computer; at the very least it's a poor telemarketing initiative targeted at computer owners with little technical knowledge...

Stephen who happened to have a foreign accent called claiming to be from Cyber Wizard saying I had infected files on my computer, more harmful than a virus.  He wanted me to log in to my computer which I did not do.  I recently had my Yahoo email account hacked so know this is related.  Called Apple who said my Mac is safe, just had me make sure I had most current software downloads for security.

    (201) 234-4604, an Indian man from this number called me and gave me a "The sky is falling pitch," he kept saying that my anti-virus software was good but wouldn't prevent my computer from crashing in a day or two. Eveything seems fine I run anti-virus scans everyday. I consider myself up on all of this. In the end he tried to sell me AIG for one year, or till 2018...I told him right on the phone that I thought he was a scammer and hung up.

I think I got the Indian guy from Kuan Yin Pusa's call, he told me that files were being transmitted from my computer. He went on to say that hackers were taking files from my computer and my personal information, and transmitting them over the internet. I asked him what files, he said something about junk files, and how it was bad. I asked how he knew this information, and he didn't give a specific answer. At that point I knew I was being jerked around and started putting him on the spot "what kind of files are being sent? executable files?! documents?! DLLs?!" he said something about junk files and hackers and I grilled him with "how do you know if hackers are transmitting files over the internet if you don't know what kind of files?!" I hung up shortly after.

April 15, 2013, I just got a call from a heavily accented person named Jack Williams who said he was calling from Microsoft and my Windows server is affected  and is sending error signals to their server and he wanted me to turn on my computer so he could show me the files that are corrupted.  I questioned how I might know that he is who he said he was, and I asked for a phone number.  He gave me 201-234-4604.  He said his company is Cyber Wizard.  I sensed that it might be a scam and he said he would call me back in about an hour.  I did not let him access my computer.

This is a phishing scam!  I got a call from this number that was disguised (too few digits and "Out of Area").  The caller told me my computer was sending error messages to Microsoft and that he (his company might be named Cyber Wizard or Cyber Reserve) would fix it for me.  He was very adamant about working on my Windows system and even tried to get me to hit certain keys and do his scamming for him!  I told him I would have my own computer repair guy look at it and he claimed "they will never find the problem".  After hanging up, I looked at the Microsoft community forums--this has been going on for a long time, is not legitimate and some posters even paid money and received no service.  This scam could also be used to take control of your computer or get personal information so don't do it!

3rd June, 2013. I got a call from that number on one fine day and they told me that there is something wrong in my computer. and they told me to turn on my computer and check my computer by my self. so when i checked my computer then i found that there are some sort of error and warnings running over there so they provide me a support connection for that and they get into my computer and they showed me all the problems which i am having inside of it. now i am a registered customer of them for the lifetime and i am really satisfied with that what they have provided me and i can tell anyone about them that they are legit and the guy who talked with me he was really helpful his name was Dave Trott.

Same problem, called twice about a month apart.  Wanted to fix all problems on my computer. Gave no name, from "cyber security, windows" wanting access to my computer.  Same Indian type accent on both calls. Never identified self, and reluctantly gave me this telephone number.  Wanted me to call him from another telephone while he had me on the line.  When I pressed for identification of his company and his own identity he hung up.

Just got this call again for the 30th time, its getting a little old. One time I swore and him and they hung up, then called me back and called me some very vulgar language, said they were going to come and f*@ck me. So I do two things now, I either tell them I don`t have a computer, or try to get as much info as I can.
Todays info was caller was Steven Casca from New York, originally from Malaysia with Cyber Support 201 234 4604. My husband is not computer Sauvé and did what `Jack Williams said and almost let them have access to our computer, we went and got all new bank accounts and new pins, because they use software that pull out common type such as passwords that are used regularly. Please don`t fall for this, and by the way all the people said they are legit, are probably scammers who have googled the info they use for scams to find forums like this. Please don`t fall for this scam, it is really not about the money they are asking for its all the info they get from your computer to steal your identity or do scams on people you have contact with through the computer such as Skype, facebook, email etc.

This is a scam. Do not grant them access to your computer. They will access it and remove funds through PayPal. Then they will crash your computer so you cannot stop the withdrawal.
