left an unknown voicemail. Didn't call back

they continue calling 5 or more times a day i really want them to stop

This is Vonage calling to try to get you to switch to them.  I told them if they want me to switch to them, then they can pay my phone bill.  The girl got smart with me and I told her that I wasn't the one calling to get me to switch from the company that I'm happy with to a company that doesn't offer half of what I get with my present company.  She hung up, but I'm still expecting another call.  Guess I'll have to get belligerent with the next one.  These people are a pain in the butt and call you even though you're on that joke "Do not call" list.  What a waste that is......

Vonage phone company, they call several times a day and don't leave a message, I did answer when they first called and I told them I was not interested and do not call again...which they failed to comply!!...

Getting this type of call is frustrating.  However, the people that are calling may have no other job options.  They are people just trying to put food on their tables.  So, I either don't answer, or say no thank you.

When did it become appropriate to be so rude to people.  If someone knocks on your door trying to sell something you simply say 'not interested.'  This is the same thing.

It's the company that's at fault, not the individual worker (that is, if it's a legitimate company and not a scam).

They should comply with 'do not call' lists and not use automated diallers which are responsible for many silent and dropped calls.

vonage    Don't they know if I wanted another phone company I would look myself on the internet. and this waiting for them to say something to you after you say hello. Don't they know you don't like saying hello hello hello.

The call to me from this number was a phishing scam. I received a
telephone call from someone pretending to be from Vonage and with a
heavy foreign accent. The caller-ID says: "Vonage; 201-285-5421" on
9-9-14, at 4:38pm - pacific time. They called a non-Vonage number, but
I already am an actual Vonage customer myself. They told me I could
"start a brand new account for $9.99." It's a scam call. They were
phishing.

This caller spoofs the CID value of a nationally recognizable company only to harvest numbers to sell.
