have received many calls from numbers starting with 201-297-45xx, 201-297-46xx and 201-297-47xx over past 4 months ...
Whoever this is always hangs up and never leaves a message.

Robo-call to my personal cell phone for some person about an "important financial matter". (so probably a collection agency chasing the person that used to have this #).
The message claimed if I pressed option 4 (this person doesn't live here/wrong #) and then pressed 1 that my phone # will be removed from their list.  We'll see if that's the case.

Robo message. I hang up. They have lots of numbers close to this. I set my phone to ring a different tone. Playing along and pressing numbers doesn't work.

This number called my phone, a friend answered it and they refused to disclose a name or reason for calling so she hung up.  This number is very rude and I highly doubt that they can speak fluent english.  Don't answer this number if you are called by it!

This is one of those situations where I think the Fed Govt SHOULD get involved and protect the innocent citizens out here having to deal with this aggravation on a DAILY basis!!! COME ONE, stop worrying so much about what athlete may or may not have taken what drug and find these idiots that set up these annoying "call farms" and shove them UNDER the jail for a decade or two!!!!
