Who is this, called today do not recognise number so did not answer

This number called my UK landline ay 10:07 today. The caller identified his company as 'Public Views', but when asked for his phone number he hung up!
Obviously a very dubious outfit if they refuse to give their phone number. I have caller ID so already knew the number that had called.

Man called from this number claiming to provide tech support for computer, he verified how many computers and users in the house. Then he said a senior rep will help me. Then the senior rep came and provided a fake name and asked me how old the computer was. I said 2 years old and then the guy asked me what I see on the screen. After that I heard him say a few words in Hindi/Urdu and he hung up.

This number called earlier this morning and there was no response when I answered, then they called just now and my husband answered. He has no patience on the phone and when the Indian guy started to ask him questions he just hung up!

Odd looking number. Called my landline asking for someone who no longer lives here. I couldn't be bothered - put the phone down on them.

Tho I have had a few calls recently from unavailable/witheld numbers telling me "someone in my household has had a car accident in the past two years" - which they haven't. So they are obviously just a claims company fishing and I wonder if it's the same one.
The previous call I got so fed up I said Yes I did, and I could hear them being so pleased with themselves. Then I said that would be the collision I had with a leprechaun. And they put the phone down on me. How rude!

Same number called AGAIN this time just wanting to ask me "a few simple lifestyle questions". It won't take very long, they said. Damn right it didn't !!!

called several times today. stating they were from tech support for windows and that my computer had been reported for down loading bad software. could bearly understand what the individual was saying. they could not speak english.

Keep receiving nuisance calls from phone # 201-374-8004. Help.

have gotten a lot of calls from area code 201 claiming to be from windows. Obviously with Indian accents and claiming to be in various American states.

I received a call from 21-374-8004, claiming to be Group Resolve.  Speaker had heavily accented voice, wanted to discuss my "Windows computer".  I told him not to call back again.

Received call from 877-688-8587 at noon, and heard a man with an accent starting his sale routine.  Told them to take my name & number off their list, informed them my number was registered with the “do not call” registry and hung up.  Later on I received a call from 201-374-8004 (5PM), and got a loud tone that didn’t even cut off after I disconnected the call.  Had to turn the phone completely off then restart.  At 5:10, I received another call from the first number...  looks like I’m getting harrassed by these jerks.

My wife got a very strange call from this number 201-374-8004 Alleged they were from Microsoft and wanted access to her computer to get rid of malware etc. She told him we don't have a computer and the guy called her a ( [***] liar ) then hung up and then I tried to call the number back as shown on my caller ID but didn't get a answer. I tried several times cause I want to talk to them.

We just received a call claiming to be from windows tech. Told him we were with the FBI and the call and location were being traced and he needed to stay on the line

This number has called me three times in an hour. I asked to be removed from their calling list, the last caller said he'd blow me up and said a lot of obscene and nasty things. It's a shame we can only block a call and not stop these people.

This number called 2 times they hang up after you say hello? they are on a delay so you have to say hello 2-3 times when they come on they cannot hardly speak English so I hung up

I have received at least 2 calls from this number over the last 2 months. Both times the indian guy says he is with Windows technical dept saying there is a problem with my security. He wants info. I told him to #@$* off.

Yea, the same here.  They just tried the same thing here.  Called me, said they need access to my windows computer.  Idiots.  I run linux.  So, I played with them for close to 15 minutes then hung on them.  They just called again.  I've tried to call back 2 times, the line is busy.  It appears the number is out of somewhere in New Jersey.

Got the second call from this number on my land line today saying that he was from Windows (heavy foreign accent) and calling because they had been getting error messages from my computer.  Caller was not at all threatened by being reported as a violation of the Do Not Call List and insisted that he was calling to help me.  I hung up!  My friend fell for this last week, and let them into her computer to "Fix" things and then the computer stopped working.  

This number called me 10 times today, then he got pissed cause I hung up on him.
