I live in Montreal Canada,

I got a call from 1-201-430-2018 this morning at 9h24 but I did not answer.

apparently here's the detail from what the web report:

I absolutely don't have anything related to US people, My finances are good, What I think is that it could be some lawyer or a scam from Attorney Thomas Landis as they call me often (blocked calls) to speak with a "christian Creg" that I don't even know...they said they were sorry 2 years ago and that they will remove me from their list but they persist to contact me...

I just received a call from the same number but when I mentioned my name the person hung up. Is there any way to report this number to the FTC?

Received call, caller unknown. When I answered and mentioned my name caller hung up. When I researched the internet, I found out I wasn't the only caller with issues associated with this number. Perhaps someone from the FCC could check into this.

they keep calling and when i pick up the phone they don't answer,,,  so disturbing, I wish they would say something, so next time I will just let it ring!   do you hear 2014302018 ?  it's just going to ring and rign and rign until your ears bust!  so go ahead and call me again,  make my day!!!

Have no idea who they are - Caller ID says unknown name. They call every week or so. When I answer there is no one there so I just let it ring now.  It only rings three times and they hang up. I tried calling back and get a recording saying the number is a non-working number. BEWARE.

damn people keep calling and dont say [***] when u pick up,, then i called back then she was saying something but i told them to not call back...

I received a call from 201-430-2018 on 6 Jan 2012 at 8:40AM, "WEEHAWKEN NJ". I called back: Number not in service.

I just got a call from them as well. Such garbage...

Just called me left no message, Someone put a stop to this fraud.

I filed a complait with FTC based on my conversation with an agent of this company and the rude and not following any bit of the fair debt collection process.  I would suggest any one that has this type of experience with them to check and see if they violated any of these practices.

keeps calling my personal cell and not saying a word.  Then calls my house and still teh same thing.  I dont even know how they would get my cell - only my kids know that number.  Moreover, I dont even know who they are?

Aggressive, harassing caller. This number is a second number and I'm not sure why they'd be calling it. Calls twice in a row. Very annoying. When is someone going to do something to stop this nonsense. We receive tons of "Unknown" type callers and it seems like the phone company monetizes our information to anyone to make a buck, then you have to pay for extra features to block this. It's a racket.

Same thing as everyone else, nvr lv msg, and no one when you call, I am on the DNC list. Annoying as hell. When does it become harrassment when these people call, and this is not an understatement, at least 10 times a day?!!!!

It's very simple, folks...If you don't recognize the number OR the name of the caller, DON'T ANSWER YOUR PHONE.  These companies thrive on using your telephone service to scare you, threaten you, and harass you.  They can't accomplish their goal if you never answer their calls,  And, if EVERYONE they called never answered, they'd be out of business.  What a wonderful world that would be with so much less scum on the planet!!!

have had several calls from this number and I let them all go to voicemail. They have never left a voicemail. After reading the above comments, I am going to block this number. It will go directly to voicemail and I will not even be notified that they call.

This is a collection agency that calls me looking for Anthony Poindexter
