Got a missed call from this number.  Don't know who it is.  Can you please tell me who is calling me.

Calll saying CHASE is offering a 1500.00 loan.

just got the phone call.
it was verizon debt collector but something is not right coz I dont owe any money to verizon.
all my invoice is already paid.
i woner if it was actually verizon.

Read on other sites that the number is a SCAM claiming to be corporations like Verizon. One person said she/he got the same thing from the "company" PayPal and when she called them directly she owed no money and they told her it was a SCAM.  they are trying to get your information, don't pick up.

To whom it may concern we have been receiving phone calls at our home.
when the phone call comes in the automated system says it is identifying our
home phone number as wireless. Untrue our home phone number is private.
It is not a wireless phone. These calls are becoming alarming. They do not say who
they are. Just they are Verizon Wireless. How can they compare a home phone number
as wireless. Further more our home phone is private it would not show up as wireless.
 I believe these are scam phone calls. Nobody identifies themselves. Very Strange!!!!!
 

 I am calling the attorney generals office concerning these calls.
 It is very apparent that saying you are calling the wrong person
isn't enough.
 However they got a private phone number is beyond me.
 Making claims that a private home phone is wireless puts up a red
 flag. So beware whoever is calling our home you will be turned into
 the proper authorities. It is also knowledge that there are in fact 30
 other numbers these people are using. As we contacted the proper
  authorities concerning not only the number that is being used. But
  many others.

Calls all the time but never leaves a message. I do not answer anonymous calls.

This number keeps calling me nonstop. i don't know what to do. as i am reading the comments, everyone just says ignore. well, if you keep bothering me, my angry mode turns on. SO should i answer and complain & keep asking why until they hang up OR ignore cause they want info?

This number called several times. Finally left a voicemail and stated it was Verizon retention dept. It sounded official - pre-recorded voice prompt asking for a reference code. I never answered the call and instead called Verizon directly to see why they would be contacting me. Verizon informed me that they did NOT have a retention department, and they did not see any reason why one of their depts would be contacting me. This is a scam/phishing attempt.

This number does not belong to Verizon wireless as claimed in a message left. I called Verizon to verify, they confirmed it does not belong to them. Told me to add it as blocked number. It's a phishing scam.

Received a call from a 410 (237 7491 I believe) number claiming to be Verizon Wireless retention dept. For a relative. The call back number was 201 448 9347 and the 10 digit code was all the same digit 10 times!
Wireless account has been closed for months and paid in full.
