Message stating they were the IRS. IRS never calls, all contact is through the mail only.

Unkown Number, Person claiming to be from Internal Revenue Service"s''  Criminal investigations division. Indian accent person hung phone when I did not give my personal info

Message claimes to be IRS. Call disconnected when I tried to call back. Researched and found that the IRS never calls. All contact is made by mail.

Called leaving messages. When I called back he said he was from the IRS

Report any calls that claim to be from the IRS to the FCC please. and i urge you to warn any elderly family members that this is a scam, hang up DO NOT give them any information not even your name and report it immediately. you can do so easily on line have the phone number and the time of day for report.

Called and left a message that he is from IRS. Scam. Be careful. Never give any personal or bank info. They will wipe you out.

this is a total scam...the idiot that answers the phone on call back (which might be a cell phone) answers "thank u for calling the i.r.s." idiot..lol...he  hung up when I called him out on the scam then blocked my number from calling back....everyone and their friends should call him and let him know he's an idiot...201-605-6840

Caller left message claiming he is from IRS.  ******This is scam******.  IRS will not call.

Message was pre-recorded.  Message said, " This is the IRS calling and you need to call us back immediately at 201-605-6840 regarding time sensitive information that we have not received from you.  If you do not call us you will be investigated and we will seize your property."

Caller threatened my 80 yr old mother  with going to jail and seizing her assets! I called the number and he wanted a number for my criminal defense attorney! I called him a scammer and he laughed at me and hung up! I called back and he wouldn't answer!

This number called me and said it is the IRS. He harassed me and asked for my attorney.

Said that IRS will take all my bank accounts and properties. FRAUD don't respond

Received a call with a threatening message. Called back, Indian accent. SCAM!!!! Report this to your phone company and block the number!

The scam artist called me as an IRS agent that was going to seize my property and bank account unless I got cash from my bank and got a prepaid visa card from a CVS Pharmacy and I panicked and followed his directions until I asked a very nice CVS clerk where the Visa machine was.  The clerk could tell I was nervous and he told me how the IRS only works through the mail or in person and that caller was a liar that he's seen hurt people 2 or 3 times a week, and as the clerk told me that,  the fake IRS guy could hear it until he hung up.
