obviously some kind of credit card scam. did not identify self. recorded message

Did not answer.  Caller did not leave a message.

It's come company called "Credit Card Services". They are total scammers. They told me they could lower my interest rate. I said, "Oh yea, how are you going to do that... you aren't the ones offering me credit." They said something about working with 500 banks.

These idiots are scammers in the worst sense of the word! The last time they harassed us, they were trying to sell some kind of slimy "get rich quick" scheme that (I was supposed to believe) was going to make all our woes a thing of the past, while (yadda, yadda, yadda...)! Three times, I tried to them that we were/are on the local and national Do Not Call List(s), and, finally, told 'em that if they called again, I'd call the AG's office!

....Guess who's getting a call, first thing, Monday morning!

Came up as "Cell Phone NJ" -- I didn't answer; they didn't leave a message.

Slam scam!!  :-)

Initial message was done via recording by a woman with a horrible British posh accent.
I hit the nine key to see what was going on. A man answered and started a sales pitch. I interrupted and asked for the name of the company. He hung up immediately. They are asking for personal information. They use this information to bill against your credit card on a monthly basis.

SCAM ... DO NOT PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE TO PEOPLE CALLING IN TO YOUR NUMBER.

Recieved the same robo message report them to http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm if you are on the do not call list

Recvd call at 11:30am . Returned call, guy answered " quit F$%## calling me" and hangs up. it was a cell phone.

Same happened here. The guy called; I called back and he yelled, "Quit f***ing calling me."
I called back and screamed in his ear, "You called me a$$hole!"
What's going on here?

something has to be done with continuos phone solicitors. there has to be a law to stop this
