Hey everyone,  I turned this number into the North Carolina Attorney General for calling me as much as 6 times a day on my home and cell number.  They must have jerked a knot in someone's rear because I received a message from Medco that I had been taken off their list until the year 2999,  yea, 2999.

Try calling or emailing your attorney general about this number and you too may get off the list until 2999

I'm an intolerant SOB when it comes to robo calls. That said I hit redial with an attitude and got a very nice lady. It seems Medco handles prescription drug plans for many insur co incl Medicare supplemental. She knew who I had insurance with. Basically they mail order drugs and hopefully in 90 day rather than 30 day prescriptions to help their costs and our premiums down. Makes sense to me.

This is Medco -- a prescription drug company that works with your health insurance carrier. They're not breaking any laws, including "Do Not Call Me" by calling you if you have them as part of your health insurance because you're a client of theirs.

They called a couple of times and when I answered, they wanted ME to prove who I am! It turns out they wanted to discuss how much $$ I could save by letting them fill my prescriptions through the mail. When I told the guy (he said his name was "Josh Boger") I had tried their service once and they took my money but didn't send my prescription meds (I'd also sent them a script from my doctor), he kept trying to get me to buy from their mail service.

He kept saying I would save money; I kept telling him that taking my money and not sending the meds was a great way for me to LOSE money.

Yet another aggravating call from MEDCO.  I have e-mailed them and called them and explained that we are not interested.  I am also on Indiana and Federal don't call lists.

These people call over and over and do not talk when I answer nor do they leave a VM. I call back and get a constant busy signal.

Same thing - multiple calls, no answer or vm.  What's up?

They have been calling me for over a month now, two times a day, it got to the point where I would actually turn my phone off at night because they would call around 6am. an hour or two after seeing this thread I received another call from them and I picked it up. They said they were with medco and they wanted me to give them all of my information and they screwed up my name. I was extremely pissed off at this point so I told her "to stop [***] calling me, I don't give a [***] who you are you aren't medco, take me off your list and never [***] call here again." She said the call was being reported and hung up. Oh no is a scammer going to report me for using bad language? OH NOES!

I think Medco is a reliable organization but also think that this 'Medco Pharmacy" @ either 772-335-4498 or 201-891-1029 is a bogus number! Several people have found listings with these two numbers out of New Jersey, Illinois, but my own research points to either Ft. Pierece or Fort Lauderdale in FLA. I have called Medco myself on the real Medco number and found that Medco knows nothing about these bogus calls.

Have got my second call, I have caller Id. Said it was Medco. Pharmacy so I answered no one would talk, I've been ripped off by mail order pharmacies. This was Medco Pharmacy also. If they are part of your insurance group you better make sure they are in your network. That little mistake cost me $700.00 or more.

Scammers posing as Medco - trolling for personal info

MEDCO calls from a TOLL FREE # not one showing an area code other than 800 , 877, or 888 ...etc.  .

and to the person saying they CAN leave a message, YES they can, and have asked us to authorize them to leave a message, so if this "person" isn't leaving one, and MEDCO knows THEY can, most likely it's NOT MEDCO calling.

grow up people... there's a war on.... don't be a moron ... don't give personal info to someone that isn't verifying who they are, if you haven't any reason to have a call from them.... especially if THEY don't leave a simple message, after having you "sign" an authorization that they can, in the future.

RECEIVED CALLS ON MY CELL PHONE FROM 201-891-1029.  Never leaves a message have no clue who it is.  Just pure harrassment.  Calls always late afternoon EST.

this is medco - it is legit - i knew they were a part of my insurance - but never bothered with 'mailorder drugs'....so always threw away their paperwork.

HOWEVER - i have united healthcare - (scum) - and went to fill a prescription for a steroid nose spray - OMNARIS -  the pharmacist said 'that will be $129, please"....i said WTF?  and then the pharmacy showed me the note from united healthcare...'omnaris - not covered - request a CHEAPER  nose spray".........so, naturally, i called united H.C.........the person explained that united healthcare WILL cover the cost of OMNARIS...if i use medco and get a 90 day perscription.  so i called my doctor, relayed the same info - he agreed - and called in a 90 day script - 2 days later i get 2 calls from the 2018911029 - both times they left messages asking i verify my shipping address - no other personal information - and left an 877 number to return their call.

call centers often have a number that cant be returned - thats not those peoples jobs - they make phone calls....not take phone calls - a very common practice....so they offer a toll-free number for you to return the call - who wants long distance charges when youre using medco to save money....and as far as verifying my shipping information????  i guess thats ok - i sure dont want to pay for drugs that go to someone else....and someone else doesnt need to know what drugs i take by getting them in their mail.....i do not think medco handles opiates or narcotics.
