I just got a call from them.  It was a recorded message from Medco telling me that my script was being processed.

I keep receiving calls from this number.  It needs to be stopped!!

someone called me from this number 201-891-3302 and left a message asking is this barbara.  I don't know who this is.  But let them know I don't want them to call my home any more.  I don't know if its a company or what.  I know its not a bill collector

They don't leave much of a message because they're protecting patient health information. Medco is your mail order prescription company.

It's Medco confirming the address for a prescription they are trying to send out.

Then why don't they leave a message.  That is so annoying!

It's Medco calling to inform you that they have recieved a new Rx and are in the process or filling it. There may be other issues associated with the Rx that need your attention such as address verification or a PA may be needed before they can fill it.
Medco can not leave a message due to privacy concerns.

They only have your number because either: 1. You or someone in your household has a mail order Rx plan through your health insurance company or 2. Someone who previously had your number used Medco in the past and did not update their information.  Another possibility is that someone keyed in a phone number incorrectly.  But either way, it's not harassing it's informative.  Personally, I like knowing that they received my Rx from my doctor and when it is due to arrive.  If you happen to answer the phone when they call you do have the option to say that you are not the person in question.  It's not that serious.

201-891-3302 called me and somehow - thru my wonderful Verizon Samsung phone - managed to attach itself as a 2nd mobile phone to a friend of mine. So I got the call, and trying to get my old phone out of the new "slimline" holsters I'm forced to buy, I hit some button and the caller ID said it was my friend's name, but with the 201 number and it hung up before I could answer.  Called my friend, on vacation in another state, who said he never called.  I called Medco at their 877 number and as stated above, their message said they called for my wife - on MY HEALTH CARE, on MY PHONE - and couldn't talk to me but asked me to pass on the message for her to call!

MEDCO is stupid.  They can't put my wife's cell number under her name in their records.
Verizon is stupid. They are late in passing phone messages left for me, but darn quick when my bill is overdue.  They called and informed me that the call might be recorded for improving their service.  I said "me, too!"  She almost swallowed her phone, "what???" I said, "me, too!  I'm recording this call." "Oh," she says, "you don't have permission to record this call" and hung up.  How do you like that?  Try it next time someone says they are recording your call.

same thing to me - asked me if i was me, and press one or two. i pressed yes, and it disconnected. when i tried to call to see who i missed, the line was busy.

It is Medco calling to let me know my prescription was received and when it should arrive to me.

This is from Medco, prescription drugs...Great service. They probably just have th wrong phone number..

This number is from Medco, a mail order prescription company.  They only have your number if your ordered a medical prescription by mail.   They use this method to inform you of the status of your prescription.
