left message to call back and speak to a Elizabeth Kobela, She call twice and ask for someone who has never lived here or whom I know.

Someone keeps calling us for someone who does not live here, or who does not have this number. what can we do to legally get them to stop calling. they call 4 times a day.

Keep calling my job numerous of times my boss told them no to call my place of employment.

They were calling me at work too. I called and left them a message to not call me at work and they were at least nice enough to take my work number out of the system. Now They call me at home all the time though :(

Rec'd a threatening call from a Steven Marham telling me that I took a loan out with a payday loan by the name of BIG CASH in May 2011. Today they are telling me that they have contacted my place of employment and they want over $2000.00.  NEVER have I taken a loan from these ppl however I have had payday loans and paid them back.  I've come to find out that once you're in the system other payday loan companies actually try and tell you you've taken loans from them.  How do I get these ppl to stop harrassing me? called trying to act like she was an attorney, saying she was an asset manager, when I questioned her about this  she said well, a collection agent, so then I pinned her down that she was a collection agency and not an attorney, claimed that she was sending something out, had my children's names, pretending that she was a legal person rather than a collection agency and then threatenedme and then also was very abusive. she stated her name was Carolyn Vickers with Kramer and Associates.

They have called me enumerous times threatening to take me and two other individuals to court for none payment.. This is ludicrous, as I paid half of the loan and then lost my job and income last year after taking out this loan, which the interest was unbelievable.  Now they say I owe over $900, from incured interest and other fee's in transferring this to a collection agency...bull!  This is illegal, especially the threatening and the high interest which has incurred on the balance of the loan which was only $250

Caller left a message saying she is Terra Jones with Kramer and Associates. She wants my statement pending the decision with the State of Indiana and left a claim #. I have no idea what she is talking about, but I am not calling her back! I just reported her and this number to the FTC.

Got a message on my cell from someone wanting me to do something about a claim that I supposedly have with the state of Arizona.  This is nonsense, so I deleted the message before even getting to the end of it, but it was this number.  The message is similar to the one reported by Kel on Oct. 5.

That is illegal collection activity.  Tell them you will file suit against them for the illegal collection activity and they will stop their nonsense real quick.

It's a collection call from a payday advance loan company. They claim they are taking me to court to collect some ridiculous amount over a 600 dollar loan. I told them I'd be happy to pay them back the original 600 I borrowed minus what I have paid them already, but they're crazy if they think I'm going to pay them 2050.00 like they asked for. I told them to go ahead and try to take me to court. They won't because under Federal and State guidelines this is considered usury and is an illegal loan... They charge over 200% interest. They would lose in court. Don't make the same mistake I did, what a dummy I was to be suckered into this "quick cash loan".

It's illegal for them to call you at your place of employment.

I got a call from these people back in August of last year staing that they were going to take me to court so in order from them from doing so i have paid them a little over 1300.00 on a 800.00 loan now i am having a hard time paying the last 400.00 and they say that i will lose everything that i have paid them if i dont pay the rest and they will take me to court. Is this true can these people do this?

I Just wanted to say that any legitimate collection agency can not tell you if you do not make the last payment than all the other payments you have made do not count. They don't just get free money unless it is a scam. The 1300 you already paid them should have been applied to the balance. Unless they refund you the 1300 there is no way they can take you to court and ask that you pay all of it again. That makes no sense. especially because I am sure they debited your account and you have bank statements stating you paid the 1300 that you can bring to court. I say this is a scam and that they are just trying to scam you out of more of your money.

Keep calling my place of employment.....said they have contacted my place of employment and shared info about loan wth them and if I do not pay then they will know all personal debt problems at work relating to me...want bank info...harrassing my relatives and keep calling my place of employment.  I asked for info to be sent to me in writing.....no go on their behalf....sounds like same Steven Moreno as previously mentioned in other post....wants payment info...NOW....makes me think now not a good idea to give payment info esp Denver refused to give wriitten agreed payment terms ...thanks...
Will repetition to FTC due to calling at workplace and will notch Mt job about harrassing calls.

This company has called me repeatedly, and has called family members also.  I am sending them a cease and desist letter.  Get to know the debt collection laws in your state.  You can get them to stop bothering you.  Don't ever tell them that you will not pay.
