Unknown annoying caller

Calls from this number are annoying!!

202-000-0000
After answering there is a short pause and then they hang up.

I have got two calls.  The first I answered but they would not talk.  I let the second call go to answering machine.  Both times my call ID showed:
WASH DC CALL
202-000-0000

got a call from 202-000-0000

Who are these callers and what do they want?

what is the deal with these calls,  its bad enough they won't talk but they keep calling.

Started getting these calls two days ago...haven't answered yet and they don't leave a message either.

Finally had a voice on the other end of 202-000-0000. in broken english she said she was from the National Taxpayers Union

Been getting calls for several weeks several times a day, when I answer they hang up, when it goes to the answering machine there is no message. I am getting very tired of this!!!

Numerous calls - I finally answered, and Caller stated that she was representing Phillip Morris Tobacco Company. Call was in regards to rising cigarette taxes in Wisconsin. Asked if there were any smokers in the house - when I said "no" she said thank you and hung up. Given the previous comments on this number - Have a feeling it is a general telemarketing firm who take on jobs from anyone.

We have been receiving numerous calls from this number. It has been years now. We had to stop answering the phone and let it goes to answer machine. The times we answered it, the person who called just hang up. There was one time recently, HE finally spoke and said he wants to speak to Sharron/ Sheryl Wilson. *(can not understand him very well)
They (or the person) call us several times a day, 7 days a week.

i just received one of these calls.  I could not understand what she was saying.  I asked her what was she calling about?  She then hung up on me.  This is very annoying, as I have received calls before from that number.  Why can't something be done about it?

I've been getting calls from the same number almost daily and sometimes twice a day.  I never answer because I figure if it's important they'll leave a message but they never do.  It's annoying that they keep calling though.

I have been getting calls from that numebr too 7 days a week always from 11am to noon central time, never got a voice.  I have VZW block the numebr from calling me... We'll see if they start calling from a differnet number.

ya ive been geting calls from this number but it rings once then hangs up and i call back and they say the number is not used

Make them STOP!  Has anyone found a way to get on the do not call list for them?  Did they stop calling once you answered and spoke to someone???  Can we report them somehow???

OK, I figured out how to make them stop.  Call 1-800-343-0975.  This is the Phillip Morris customer service line and you'll have to verify your name and number.  Then they transfered me to a lady who then took my number off of their telemarketing call list.

I have had 13 calls from this number in the past two weeks. I agree, MAKE THEM STOP!!!

these people (reads Wash, Dc on caller I.D.), when YOU call this number back--clain that the are NOT  Philip Morris but a nursing Home mgt. company...!
