Scam call claiming they are giving you a U.S. government grant

I received a very rude caller who spoke so fast and unclear that I couldn't understand most of his conversation other that giving me money without having to pay any. When I told him I was registered on the do not call list he argued with me. When I told him I would report his number he then hung up.

Scam call stating inappropriate things...

Well, this number decided to blow up my phone with several calls today, out of nowhere...no messages on my voicemail...I actually accidentally called them back when trying to get their number off my screen after their last call, so I figured I'd just go with it and tell them to leave me alone...but, all I got was a "your call cannot be completed as dialed" message. Odd...but, oh well. I'll just block their number the "traditional" way.

This was an unsolicited call that was claiming that they were a government agency for Washington D.C. giving grant monies for those who paid their bills on time over the past year. The grant is for $7000.00 and can be direct deposited or Money Gram to you.  You must tell them how you will use this money and they give you a confirmation number for the grant money.  They say that they Grant name is "Free Loyalty Grant Money".  Callback Number is 253-843-6560.  Original Source number is:  202-000-0576.  Gentleman that called had a Middle Eastern Nationality accent, and spoke in fairly decent English, but stumbled a few times, he spoke very fast.

Received this call @ 6pm.  Very foreign voice asked "Is this Robert?  (That's my husband)  I said NO and hung up

I received a call from this number with no voicemail. I am registered on the do not call list. Guess it doesn't work very well.

They called saying I had a government grant, she spoke extremely fast. She said to call a second number for confirmation, but the whole thing came across and sketchy

this number called me 3 times today. I tried to call the number back and it said that it cannot be completed as dialed. so I look the number up on the internet and I see that it is a scam. I wonder how they got my number.

Who is this calling from this number all the time?

had these people call me too,  they had a free grant from siezed drug money.  I went along with this to see when they would ask me or tell me i had to send them money,  and they did.  I would have to go to a Moneygram store and register and pay $200.  I told them to [***] off and they is all a SCAM.
these people are getting smarter and smarted these days,

Wife got a call and freaked here out. But I knew to check on line for such crank calls. To all give this group a hard time....make them spell everything out on the phone to JUST TEASE THEM. Ask them annoying questions over and over and they will hang up too

Got this call at 1pm today, no voicemail. Did not answer since it was a 000 number.
