- SLNGot a call on a Saturday in the middle of dinner from this number. It was a guy named "Patrick" with very broken English. Kind of rude, never told me who he was from. Caller ID said the call was made out of D.C.
- CouchGot a call from that number when i was at work. My wife answered and the guy had bad english asked for me when she said i was at work he asked her who she was and asked herr if she was single. She told him she was married to me then he hurried up to get off the phone. When he was getting off the phone he told her to have a nice life.

- PJSecond time I got a call from this number. Female, broken english (sounded hispanic) just kept saying hello and then hung up.
- 2021111111This phone number was a missed call on my cell phone. They didn't leave a message and it looks like a scame number (111-1111).
- PJ24| 1 replyMy call was from "Frank" from "Washington DC" with "the government" announcing I too have received a $6,000 grant!!
"Frank" instructed me, in broken English, to call 202-407-9760 with my "grant code" WG### to simply verify my mailing address to collect. When I asked why he couldn't just process it since he contacted me he fumbled on his words. I then asked him to repeat my name at which time I informed was incorrect and inquired about a contact number for him. He told me to call the above number & ask for him...I asked for him to just pop a check in the mail now.... uh huh...
first red flag: the government is seeking YOU out to give YOU FREE money?! then it does seriously south from there ...comeonnow...
I seriously hope noone is falling for this ridiculous scam. These leeches need to get a real life.- Caller: 2021111111
- Jon HammondSame here. Received a call from this number claiming (in barely discernable English-heavy east Indian accent) that the Government wants to give me $9,000 dollars. Too bad it wasn't "Over 9,000!" haha!
- Caller: No idea
- tin3rexI got a call from 2021111111 and wrote down everything and contacted local police. They can call dc police and inform them. Do not give any info over the phone. The government does not seek you out to give you money. If they owe you money they stay quiet about it until you seek it yourself.
- Call type: Political call
- KennethCouldn't understand what the caller was saying. Too much background noise.
- Annoyed in New YorkI just got two calls from them today. I got a voicemail, likely by accident, with a lot of background noise and a man with a distinct Indian accent saying something intelligible. It's obviously a SCAM. This is the second time this week I've gotten a call from an unrecognizable number. Last time they said the IRS was coming for me and this time, who knows what they were up to. Report them.
- lex smithThere are many scams happening the past weeks whether it is computer maintenance scams charging hundreds of bucks for doing nothing. BEWARE of these calls. another call number is 586-999-5408.
- BabyGHe gave me three options to send me my $6,000 grant....1. Western Union (red flag) 2. Deposit it into my checking account (oh so you think I'm going to give you my account number) 3. Deposit onto my debit card (again, you are NOT getting my account number). He asked which option I want, I said neither. He call himself getting slick and said something about my [***]. He then asked me again which option. I said if this is legit, the government would send me a check in the mail. He made that smart remark again about my [***] and then said bye now. Never give out any personal information over the phone. There are other ways to identify you.
- Did you ever receive the money replies to kristeeDid you ever receive the money
- Me'z!! replies to PJ24I just got second call from the same number. Caller had an Indian accent, and sort of mumbled. She stated she was fron the US government department (um...Department of what?) She informed me due to me being an outstanding citizen, paying my taxes and having little debt, I would be receiving $9000 within 45 minutes, which would be transferred to my bank account. "Oh my, you just need my bank account information? I asked. But, we were abruptly cut-off. I'm heartbroken, because when I tried calling back, the number was erroneous. Now I'll never be able to help the dethroned Prince of Nigeria!
- SusieI have been receiving 2 to 3 calls per day for the past 2 weeks. I do not recognize the number and do not answer.
- Loco GWhen I answered the call they didn't immediately answer, and then almost unintelligibly, told me it wasn't an automated call and waited for my response. He started going on about my computer (couldn't understand what he was saying most of the time, spoke in an Indian accent) when in fact I have multiple, and asked if I was the primary user. I Told him he had just called a phone number that wasn't even the primary on the account, and he hung up before I could finish my sentence. Don't know how they got my number either. Tried to call back right away but obviously didn't work.
- LolaJust got a call from the same guy with the Indian Accent. Just hang up immediately.
