Received a call from this number, but they left no voice mail. Number is out of D.C.

Same here. Received a call 2 times from this number. but they left no voice mail. I call back this number. but "wrong number"

A man with a very thick Indian accent called my daughter's cellphone asking for me. She answered "wrong number". We have no idea who they were nor why he was calling.

Got a call from this number. No voicemail.

Received a phone call from this number and spoke to a woman. I believe this is a SCAM. She said I had been awarded a grant from the US government. She stated she needed to verify my information. (I refused to give any personal information). When I asked if I could have a call back number or a website to verify/research this grant, she would not give me any number or website. She said that once I give her information, she will transfer me to "Accounting" which could give me the phone number and website information as well as set up transfer for this "grant". I continued to refuse to give the woman any type of information without doing research and she hung up.
