Caller claimed to be Officer Eric Johnson (with a very heavy foreign accent) from the Federal Investigation Department. He said there was a legal complaint against my name and address and that I should return his call or otherwise suffer legal action. When I Googled the Federal Investigation Department a news story came up about IRS fraud.

Caller sounded like he had an Indian accent.  He left a message about some complaint being filed against me.

I have told this guy that I was a police officer and he began to cuss me out

I had the same issue I have had 2 voice mails left for me now. Is there anything I can do about it? Isn't this harassment?

he called me twice and left message.I called back he said i filed my takes incorrectly and to speak to his supervisor but disconnected me.He also ask if i had gotten anything in the mail.

II got a phone call at home from Alan who sd he was a paralegal with the IRS federal investigation unit, there was a mistake in filing taxes w/ Robert (we file jointly) he wanted our address, which he had correct but I didn't verify, he knew my husbands age middle initial and gave me the name of the chief investigating officer with the special division of the IRS#1-202-239-0595,when i cld the ph# back it sounded just like Alan with an Indian accent saying he was daniel wilson the chief investigating ofc. That's scary cause they had a lot of info on us! I am calling him back to leave a message that I filed a complaint w/ the better business bureau!

These people are indian scammers. block there phone number and delete there messages.

Claiment was "officer" Michael Brescott, with a legal complaint out of Washington DC.  He had a very heavy accent.

Heavy foreign voice threats about jail asking him for money etc. Say his name was Daniel Willson from irs
