...looks like a "workaround number" to previously reported 'IRS Threat Scam caller: 202-241-7739...others receiving calls from this number are requested to confirm...

I continue to get this scam robo-call claiming to be the IRS collecting for back taxes. I couldn't make out the message entirely so I called it back hoping to be taken off their calling list.  Everyone I spoke to had an Indian accent. I wasted as much time as I could, leading them on pretending to be interested in settling my supposed debt. I was transferred to a "supervisor" who finally caught on to my fake interest. At the end he said, "maybe I should stick my d*** in your a**".  It was absolutely hilarious, totally unexpected. I may call back again today for fun.

Yes, it was definitely an Indian accent that I got. A scam.

I received a prank call from this number and I want to have it stopped.  The people perpetuating this need to be incarcerated, immediately.

Just got a message from this number stating I needed to return their call to avoid going to court. I have no outstanding debt, so I'm not sure who it is. I'm in NC.

Some idiot name Dave Thomas with an indian accent said he was calling from the IRS. They need to get a life, Mutherfuqker woke me up calling 10 times.

Called the number back after listening to the threat that this was the final call I would recieve before the lawsuit against me ensued.  Indian accented man asked for my phone number to which I replied that he should be able to see it on his caller ID. I then said that I was certain this is not the way the IRS would be contacting me at which point he hung up the phone on me.

I wish these calls would stop - voicemail asking to call number ASAP before they turn my case into the IRS

LOL!!  Too funny.  Just got this robo call a second time from 202-239-1287.
Read this chat and thought I might have fun.  So I called the number.  I informed that that I am (total fib here) the deputy director for the debt collection department of the IRS in Washington, DC and that I'd like to speak with Alexandria Court the deputy director of the Debt notices department.  The Indian voice at the other end stammered for a second and asked me to hold and then he hung up.  Made my day.  LOL!

I keep getting this call.  I'm going to court (lol) and at the end of the message, she says "God Bless You".  What a joke!  Scam scam scam.

Looks like a workaround  for 202 5664.  Same ,awsuit threat.  Totally bull.

I received my 2nd phone call this morning 12/15/14 letting me know that the IRS is filing a law suit against me. Sorry we don't make enough for the IRS to bother with. They end their call with GOD bless you (dead give away that its a scam)

Someone called and left message saying they were from IRS and to call 202-239-1287 before they sue.

I just got the IRS call for the 2nd time.  I had a chance to write down the number this time.. 202-239-1287.
I called back to mess with them.. I even debated inviting my employees in to enjoy the fun, but the number seems to be disconnected.   I'm only getting the tone for a line thats not in service.

Talk about 'phoning in' your scam.. they can't even be bothered to have a working number on the robo-call recording.

Damn.. I was really looking forward to insisting that they give me their address so I could pop in to discuss this.  :-)

I have been getting this phone call for a week, so I finally called it today. A man answered. Clearly he was not from the United States. I said I received a message from this number stating that I owe money to the IRS. He said. " No you, didn't. Stop lying b*tch". Lmao. I said excuse me. Then he told me to suck his d*ck!! Omg really who do you report this too?
