- SR| 1 replyI received a call today supposedly from this number, although I also received the same voicemail message from another number(716-249-2221) later in the day. A man with a heavy accent (possibly Russian?) said he was with the IRS (or Internal Rewenue Services, as he said) and that his name was agent Brian John. He said I needed to return his call as soon as I receive this message. Pretty sure the IRS doesn't use robocalls. Not returning the call.

- ELK replies to SRI received two messages from this same number.A Russian man stated that he was an officer for the IRS. He said it was in our best interest to call him back and if we ignored his phone call he "wishes us the best of luck and waves us goodbye"!
What is this scam?? Needless to say I didnt return the call.
