    Caller claimed they were from IRS and I was facing a lawsuit.  I never called back because immediately I knew it was a scam.  The phone number needs to be investigated if possible so other will not fall prey.

    I received a similar call. I called the number just to see what it was. Someone with a middleeastern accent answered IRS. When I said I was pretty sure he wasn't, he told me to put his d$%^ in my mouth and suck it.

    Extremely obvious scammer claming to be the IRS.  Seems to be someone with an extremely low IQ and a computer.  I could be wrong, but I suspect impersonating a federal agency is a federal offense, right?
