Someone claiming to be from the IRS. Accent so heavy cannot even understand her name. Some type of scam.

This is an IRS impersonator scam.  If you go to www.tigta.gov and click on the impersonator scam button in the upper right corner you can submit a report to the IRS about this.  It's been going on for a while, but I only just found out about it when I received a call from this number just like yours.

This number rings from 6am throughout the day. There is a lot of static but you can hear someone saying "hello" "hello" and when you say "hello" back they can't hear you. You hang up... they call again. And again...

Guy called accusing me of tax fraud and even had the "sheriffs department" call and tell me I had 30 minutes until I was going to be arrested. When I asked what county the sheriff was in I received a few stutters and mumbles then I was told my cell phone is being tracked and I should expect the FBI shortly!! Lol ok. This guy's a clown. Pay him no mind

Some one from this number called me and actually told me to shut my mouth and listen when i tried to interupt him, because his accent was so strong that I couldn't understand what he was saying.

I got a call from this number 202--239-8745 saying that I committed tax fraud. Said his name was officer Ben McCoy with a badge #98252833. He said that unless I agreed to not involve a 3rd party that he would have a warrant for my arrest ordered and law enforcement would be called to arrest me.
He had a heavy Indian accent and I could barely understand him.

Indian accent gentlemen called me on my cell phone and told me he was Officer Henry with crimes investigations of IRS and there was a complaint affidavit on file about me.  he would not fax me a copy for me to read, said he could read it for me over the phone or have the local sheriff come out to my office and read it to me and then arrest me and i would be held for 72 hours and then allowed to pay almost 800 dollars.  i told him to do what he needed to

This guy with a heavy indian accent called me today and said that he represented the IRS and that I have committed fraud.
I told him, what are you talking about but then he named my wife also which lead me to believe that these people
somehow have our records. In any case he said that he was going to send the Sheriff and IRS agents to wait for me at
home to arrest me. I talked to my accountant and he told me that the IRS always communicate in writing any information
of this nature. My take is that this is a sick individual who should be arrested himself ASAP for misrepresentation of
a Federal Office.

Scott Henry 202-239-8745 extention, 103.  called saying that my husband was going to be arrested for tax evasion and check fraud for $1284.87 and he had a warrant for his arrest and that if we didn't pay it that they will come to his work and or his home and drag him to the jail!  He would have to spend three days there or pay a fine and then he hung up on me.  Very heavy indian accent.  He said he was with the Federal Bureau of Crime Investigation.  

Charles Moss called with heavy indian accent on horrible connection, could barely hear call, says from crimes investigation unit says must call immeidately to same number.  even said god bless at end of one call (called 3 times) what an idiot
