Called at 11:45 am today and left no message.

Left a message that it was the IRS and we must not ignore the message and must call back before they take action against us.  At the end she said "Take care". Yeah, take care that you don't become a sucker and fall for the scam.  Said her name was Officer Julie Smith.  Area code is from Washington D.C.  DO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE !!!!

This automated message is most likely a scam. I completely agree with prior comment.  Seriously, what is the likelihood of the IRS saying "take care".

Same ph number, robocall voice message saying it's urgent call from officer Julie Smith from the IRS, extremely time sensitive and not to ignore the call. Sounds like a scam. Said not to disregard the call and follow up immediately before they take action against me. Call ended with something like take care.

I got the same call from 202-241-0104 strongly urging me to call another number. The message was a female voice pre-recorded. I tried to do a reverse phone lookup but got nothing or the nnumber doesn't exist. What are these scumball scammers trying to scare the hell out of people? I can't bieve there are over 20, 000 people that are that gullible to be taken for over $1 million dollars. I just hope they are caught and prosecuited to the fullest extent of the law. I filed an incident report with the U.S. Treasury Department.  Which is what everyone should do that receives one of these calls.

I got the same call; also, what is the likelyhood that the IRS would even make such a call? according to the U.S. Treasury Department's web site this has been going on for quite some time. These types of calls should be reported. www.ustreasury.gov and click on the link that takes you to their site to report these scammers.

I got a call from them today and after looking this up I decided to call and call and call them back till they used a privacy option and sent the call straight to vm. LOL iI am going kill these piss ant's with all me dialing finger has in it.

Prank call.  The same line Sally's message of 9/11/14. Hunt the person down and send them to jail.  Take Andy Gs advice of 9/15/2014...
