Received call from fake IRS agent.  Indian/Pakistani accent.  Said notice has been issued and there is a serious allegation.  IRS criminal investigation.  Stated my last name incorrectly.  Said it is a matter of urgency & look forward to speaking with you.  Have a blessed day.  I did not return call.  Does anyone check these criminals/phone numbers?

Got the exact same scam today

Same message. Total scam. A friend of the family received a similar message a few days ago that said the police were coming for her unless she paid a fine. She panicked, sent the money only to learn later it was a scam. Lesson learned. Ignore these [***].

Received 13 calls within 15 minutes from this number.  We politely requested that they remove our # from their calling list and they said, "no".  When asked to speak to a supervisor, again, "no".  Had to take phone off hook to stop calls.   Can we expect them to call again?   Have reported this harrassment to TIGTA

I got a call, I owe for the Irs with 1900😂 I pay everything on time even my taxes. 🙏🏼  They said it is under my name. I pay taxes jointly with my husband, they didn't even know I have a husband.
