The caller says he's from the IRS and that I owe a penalty for "fraudulent wire transfers". He tells me that this is serious and that I need to pay immediately. I asked for his name, he wouldn't give it to me. I ask to speak to a supervisor, and he hangs up.

I then called the number back and someone else answers with "What you want?" I explained the previous call to him and he responds with "Well, what you gonna do about it?" I tell him I am reporting this number to the FTC and IRS and he hangs up.

It was a recorded voice that said a number 1199 and said that if they didn't hear from me the case would be downloaded.  They didn't even leave a call back number.  What the heck???  I had no idea what they were talking about or wanted.  I don't answer phone calls from numbers I do not recognize or are not in my contact list so this went to voice mail.  It's probably a scam.
