Got a phone message from an officer Jack Brown, criminal investigation department, telling me that they discovered miscalculations and fraud in my tax filings, and urging me to call back immediately. Suspecting that this might be a scam, is there anyone who has had a similar experience with this phone number or this type of message?

I got the same message. I was thinking it's fraud as well

Received a call from this number the person said his name wS officer Jack Brown. Very foreign accent. He was to be from the Washington DC criminal investigation dept. I was to call him immediately ASAP. Called back women with very foreign accent answers says leave name number so an officer can call back.

I got the same phone call from the same person - Jack Brown; they threatened me to pay right now or I will be arrested immediately.
They made me by Vanilla Reload Network cards and give them PIN number.  Money were taken right right away.

Just got a call from the same number, from an officer who called herself Stefany Jones; pretty sure it is fraud, IRS never contacts people by phone

Total scam.
I laughed at the person on the other line and Also told them I was going to call the FBI and turn in the number which I did less then 5 minutes ago. The last people that tried to scam me go arrested and sent to Federal Prison. They arrested over 10 people all but 1 of them went to Federal Prison. My guess is the 1 person that didn’t must of squealed.
