I have also received strange garbled message about warrant being issued and about to be transferred to local police station, requested to contact them right away at this number. Probably some scammer looking for money.

Received a call today, Same thing saying they are the CSI division of the IRS. Then they say the local police are on the way with an arrest warrant.  Still waiting for them, I have my pajamas and toothbrush ready.  

Do not respond this call, this is a scam. I have 3 messages from this phone # pretended be from IRS office. When I called back  a person represented as Erik Stark, senior investigator claimed that he will call in a police if I do not pay $3,400, asking to provide SS# and DL information. I even got a call from "police" from another phone # 284-832-4712, that # is a spam for cell phones, till it always appears on my cell phone when I am making a call. I am going to call in my cell phone company with asking what to do.

Claims to be IRS auditing the last 10  years...also very threatening using vulgar language when I mentioned my attorney.

Got two calls first was IRS then the one below was recorded from readable voice mail:

"Hello this is in satisfied-talent-pastor-sally(?) this is officer Peter Samson. I'm calling you from DC. It's the Crime Investigation. The reason behind my call is to confirm you about the warrant(?) which is going to be far away to your local Police Department. Flat for today. In order to arrest you now before we do so we would like to have a word with you. So please do return me the call in order to rectify the situation or to know more regarding your case. My line number is 202-241-2816. I repeat it's 202-241-2816. Just look for officer Peter Samson. Please do not disregard this message and get back to me as soon as possible. Thank you."

Heavy accent scammer

Same as above- I am going to turn it over to Illinois State Attorney Generals office

the same man keeps calling me saying he is either and IRS agent or an investigation company working for the IRS and they issued an arrest warrant for fraud for over 10 years. He demands my banking information so I won't go to jail. This is a SCAM. Do not fall for this. These calls have been going on for almost a year. He claims his name is Kevin Stalon.

My wife own IRA money per call from 2022412816.
The problem is she has no income.

Impersonation of IRS Criminal Investigation. Anybody at Law Enforcement looking into this?

I received a second call today by Jim Arthur badge # 7806 he is claiming to be a Criminal Investigator and threatened to send local police to my apt. I am an elderly lady on SSI.

Received call from same number. Also 10 year irs problem plus in March 2014 sent an affidavit about irs problems and I signed out. Received no such thing!  No threats but told to call officer Peter Sampson back within one hour for more explanation. Then I'm guessing would ask for money for this problem to go away.

I got the same message from "Jim Arthur". I get several calls a day. Really annoying.

My Dad just received a message stating to call this number about a CI. Dad called back and was told he was about to be arrested for tax fraud. My Dad is not in good health and this is not funny. Can something be done?

Received a call for my husband from the same number claiming to be an officer from the criminal investigation division badge #1363 indicating  a warrant was issued for him. It was hard to understand the message. My husband called back indicating he was returning a call but the guy on other end wouldn't provide his name. Can this be reported sonowhere?

Just received called from 202-2412816 saying there is a criminal investigation because of unpaid taxes, talking about warrant. The person introduced himself as Steven Johnson, it is hard to believe taking into account strong Indian accent. So it is a scam, called my accountant - everything is fine.

Yea i got a call from this number asking me to pay immediately or i would get arrested, guy had a strong indian accent and refused to help me identify him or the case presented against me, and when i mentioned that i am a dependent and that i have no income he tried to make me lie to my parents to receive the money, which i obviously didnt do. be warned, this guys are persistent and can easily fool an unsuspecting person in a bad moment
