- brocoli robgot a vm, dea agent calling about investigation. this was the 2nd call I got, rec'd one yesterday from a local number from dea agent & his investigator. I believe all these to be scams as reported by the news, it's exactly as the article describes the MO. I figure if this is just a big scam the real DEA could not get anything done using this method (assuming its a valid method of investigation, calling and yelling at people). They wouldnt be able to tell which were fake and which were real, so it all must be fake.
- ann| 1 replymultiple calls from number stating to be DEA????strange

- Trace Q Dinklestein202-241-2908 caller id'ed themselves as DEA, with Dominican Accent and said they'd send me to jail, take my kid, wanted bond of $25,000, or $2500 CASH, wired to them. Their call back number says they are DEA but it is on voice mail. STRAIGHT SCAM FOR MONEY$$$$. THEY TRANSFERRED ME TO THEIR ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM who couldn't even speak english to arrange for me to make payment. This guy had direct lines (huh, huh, huh,LMFAO) to the FCC, US Customs "International division" (isn't that why Customs exists, international matters - ??????? YAH! ) and he could reach them and have a full conversation, while I was on hold, in a matter of 30 seconds - ALL THIS ON A SATURDAY MORNING! Too bad these people can't be caught and executed! SCAMMERS!!!!!!!
- Caller: DEA (yeah, right)

- jatopI got a call from this number, individual said there was an investigation and they needed information from me. I told him I would stop in at the Orlando office, as Agent Stevens was a personal friend of mine, I've known since I retired from the sheriffs dept and we golf together. Caller hung rather quickly. I thought that was rather rude...

- Jan| 1 replygot a call from a man with a foreign accent. Said he is DEA agent Tarl Thomas calling about an investigation. There was traffic noise in the background and he was talking loudly. He was rude when I asked his name and said I wasn't listening to him and the DEA was going to search my house and arrest me for not cooperating with his investigation. Really had me going for a minute. I truly don't understand the call. I think it is a scare tactic and if they scare someone then they must try to get information?? banking etc. Just guessing.
- Caller: DEA
- Concerned replies to JanI recieved a call today same as the rest. Report to authorities and the real DEA.
- NancyReceived the same call. Said there was a warrant for my arrest.
- MamaGot the call from 202-241-2908 saying he was DEA and that failure to call back would result in a warrant for my arrest and search of my property. They were very intimidating claiming that I would go to jail for 5-7 years. However if I paid a fine to a federal courthouse I would be free of all charges. He really scared me. My spouse intervened and must have said something that caused the creep to hang up.(there were three different people with whom I spoke - Sgt. Carl Thomas and Tony Angely) I notified my local police dept. And they contacted the real DEA and the DOJ fraud dept.
- Caller: DEA
