I just received a call from this number stating the following scam on May 28, 2015 at 1128
"Good Morning (my name) this is special agent Marcus Mandes with DEA Drug Enforcement Administration Narcotics Unit Division 78, from Washington DC. At the current moment your name shows up in the middle of an ongoing open federal investigation. And we have a few questions to ask you. You need to give us a contact call at 202.241.6218. I will be expecting your call."
This is a scam and when I googled DEA division 78 multiple entries with similar voicemail messages and another name with the same division number from the year 2011 with the name David Justice and the number 202.239.0798 showed up. The posts state they were requesting money to prevent the victim from jail time.
You can go to the DEA website deadiversion.usdoj.gov click on the Extortion Scam Online Reporting link or call 1.877.792.2873 to report the incident via message.
