My caller ID said "Service Msg" that's all I Have.

Same as above. Service Message. Who's gonna answer that??? I am so sick of all these crap calls... day in and day out, all hours of the day. This is harassment.

We have several calls from these folks even though we are on the do not call registry. When I speak to them they say they can lower my rates to 6%.  The person says they are from "Card Services of America, Orlando, FL".  They want my credit card number and also my SS # which I do not give them. As soon as I ask for information about them, like their address, or, as soon as I tell them they are calling a number on the do not call registry they hang up.

Just got a call from this number saying they can lower the interest rate on my credit card to 6%.  I find that very interesting becasue I do not use credit cards

Caller ID says Washington, DC, yeah, I bet that is right!

I just got a call on my cell phone from this number. I retrieved my message and got about half of the automated message from them stating they could lower my interest rate on my credit cards. I do not use credit cards. They should not be even calling me, much less calling my private cell phone number . GRRRR!

Can You Say Phishing, I do not carry a balance, I do not care about interest rates, these to me are harassment calls. I get several a day!

"Do Not Call Lists" and "Phone" companies.

I've gotten several calls over the past week where they are asking for my SS#.  I'm not about to give that information out!  My wife is in criminal justice and she says it's a scam and is encouraging anyone who gets these calls to contact the police/FBI re: harassment - possible ID Theft.  Eventually they WILL be caught!

The message said I needed to press 1 to get a lower credit card rate.  I decided to press 1 because I felt like yelling at them.  I couldn't understand what the man who picked up said so I said "what?  I can't hear you" and he hung hung up.

Caller ID said SERVICEMSG

Call type is SCAM but there's no selection for that on this website.

I keep getting this call as well. When I press 1 to tell them I am on the Do No Call registry, they hang up. I get the exact same message from the phone number 303-458-9130, listed as being located in Denver, CO.

Received call from same number - regarding interest on my credit cards.  Why can't the BBB shut these fraudulent "service systems" down?

Last time I got a call re: my credit cards, I answered.  He explained the entire interest scenario. I asked which credit card they were speaking of as I have many!  Couldn't give me a straight answer.  Then I asked him to read my credit card number to me so I could identify which company.  That was privileged info, according to him.  Finally, I asked for a supervisor and the response from the caller was "Go to hell" and he hung up!

If anyone can come up with a way to stop these calls permanently, I'll invest!  Sick of this!

i just got the same exact call from that same phone #. and the credit card they were talking about i had yrs. ago, and i never missed a payment NEVER!  and Visa closed my account on me for no reason what so ever.......and at that point the kid hung up on me.....definately a SCAM.

Yes, that's what my caller ID says too. I get those credit card calls all the time. No matter how many times you say "Take me off your list", they continue to call!!!

This is the credit card FRAUD...  They will get a credit card number, perhaps SSN, and ask you to call the company. "We don't ask for your PIN, you just enter it into the system."  Right.  They record the PIN and have thereby stolen your credit card.

I answered call this AM to a recording stating that this is the last offer I will recieve to lower my credit card balance to 12%. I pressed #1 as the speaker stated, so I could speak with a representative. They hung up as soon as I pressed #1. I wanted to ask them to take our phone number off their list. We have recieved calls like this one from ((202) 367-9973) now for ongoing six years. We're on the FTC Do-Not-Call registry, which I am convinced keeps out only legitimate businesses!  We have had law enforcement/phone co. intervene. We are convinced this illegal harrassment is so out of control, a manipulative tool used to get the victims of the harassment to purchase more sophisticated and costly phone services. A remaining method to make these calls stop if you hold a land line, is a selective calling bundle/feature that will add approximately another $15.00 of monthly charges on your phone bill. This feature will block any callers that are not on your pre-chosen list of numbers. It will stop these freaks from calling you but it may also tie up your important contacts if they are not on your list. A distinct ring tone feature may also be applied so that you may know the caller as they ring you, but this is also an inconvenience to rig up. It would be interesting to see legitimate scientific research on this form of phone scamming as it costs companies hundreds of hours of lost manhours ($$) to deal with this anarchy!
