on feb 20-2012 i applied for loan was contacted by guy by name of rob williams sounded like indian
hidu stated loan been approved for 1500.00 wasnt able to send money to my bank because of tech
diff on their end sent me to western union to send 200.00 then my money would be refunded to me
later in a ck.unable to get money at western union because he stated it had been held until today
then pulled out of western union and a better way to get my money i was going to be awarded
a grant that i would nt have to pay back so my total i would recieve back would be 8000.00
the us bank in washington dc would deposit this money in my account today well i still havent rec
it

This isn't the first time I have received a call from this number.  The calls shows as unknown on caller id.  The caller always states his name is Robert either Smith, Jones, etc something common.  The scam is always the same, "your loan has been approved" for some fantastic amount of money.  I have reported this number and western union information to the fraud dept at western union and have filed a complaint with the Attorney General.  I would suggest doing the same to all.  Once you send any money the number will no longer pick up.  What is worse they actually save your number and will call you again over and over saying they are from somewhere else and that you owe money and the police are coming to arrest you.  It's always a Hindu voice.  If you challenge them they yell in an attempt to scare their caller.  I URGE EVERYONE AND ANYONE WHO GETS A CALL LIKE THIS TO CONTACT THE AUTHORITY'S IN YOUR AREA.  They are hacking into legitimate payday loan systems and retrieving your information and extorting money from people who get scared and just pay.  IF THE OPPORTUNISTS SHOULD HAPPEN TO SEE THIS, YOU ARE STEALING FROM POOR PEOPLE JUST LIKE YOU!!!!

These people called me to say i had received a loan and would have to send the $200 by western Union to get my $1500. I will assume it is a scam.I am reporting this

They tried to pull the $175 out of our account, but we're flat broke. We didnt know they were trying to take out the money, though. We asked them if we had to front them any money to get the loan and they said no. Then they told us "due to technical difficulty on our end we cant wire the money to your account. We need you to go to Western Union to get it." When we got there, they told my husband he needed to give them $175. When my husband said he didnt have it, they told him "well if you dont have $175 then we dont think you will be able to come up with the money to pay back the loan." Only after reading other posts complaining about this "company" did we realize they probably tried to take the money out of our account and when they couldnt they tried to get it via the western union. TOTAL SCAM!!!
