Synthetic voice saying "the IRS is suing you and you should call [this number] right away". Just another robo-dialing scammer.

I got the same message!  No idea what this is about.

Computer aided voicemail message: Hello this call is officially a final notice from IRS Internal Revenue Service the reason of this call is to inform you IRS is filing a lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call immediately on our department number 202-390-8534 I repeat 202-3908534 Thank you.

1/28/16 - got three calls today on cell phone-no one talks just disconnects.

Whatever you do, do not disclose any personal information should you decide to return this call.  If you were truly being sued by the IRS, you would receive notice via certified mail, not some robo-call.  Call your local office of the real Internal Revenue Service and report every call; they will not treat this lightly, as it is a felony to misrepresent yourself as a Federal agency or agent thereof.

This automated message telling me this is my final warning from the IRS and that I needed to call immediately...the same message as everyone else.

Same message from "the IRS". I hope no one falls for this kind of thing. Like someone else said here, you would be getting official written notification, NEVER an automated message with no reference number, not naming the person it's for - The IRS would not be allowed to leave a voicemail saying you're being sued!

My 83 year old father is getting these calls.  Calling the IRS and reporting them again.  Damn scammers.
