Grant scam. Asked for my husband and said he was selected to receive $6000 grant from the US Government Grants Department. we are not calling back. gave me an approval number and name Kenny (man with an Indian accent)

Just got a call from the same place last nite tell me I was approved for a $9,000 Grant and gave me the approval number and no name ....  I call them today and they told me I had to send in $ 230.00 to get it ...I call back asking for the name of the place and the lady told me she could not tell me right now ... I hope every body understand  it's a big scam....The Number they Called me from was 1-202-407-9094 if u get a call from them just tell them no thank you .......

I received a call from 202-407-9094 to hear some wonderful news, "finally !!".
The passed few months have taken a toll on my family and I.
Finally a sigh of relief . the gentleman on the phone assured me that my 9000.00 was waiting for me in D.C.
but I needed 230.00 for the transaction fee......
From the blindness of light at the end of the tunnel, immediately I called everyone knew to borrow money.....

Googled  the phone number and been further in debt.........

I just got a call from them today saying I got randomly selected for $9,000 in grant money but I would have to pay "the bank" $310 so when I ask for proof he got really mad and hung up

Just got the call as well. before I even considered calling, I googled (I <3 google) the number. Just as I anticipated. It's a scam.  Be cautious ya'll.

Got call from this number and told me that i have selected for $9000 grant money and i had given my bank details in hurry. don't know whats going to happen with my Bank account now

They called saying I was approved for a 9,000 grant from the u.s government for paying my bills early for the last 2yrs... Id number ry1989 phone number 2024079094 and to talk to a Jason Lee to get my money... So I asked the man to receive the money by check and he said no its faster threw western union or money gram and I said why wouldnt the u.s government send me a check and the man got upset and told me Jason Lee would answer my questions. Hmmmmm right im not stupid...

I cant believe it...ive been scammed out of 205.00 dollars. The most screwed up part is it wasnt even my money i used.  They promised me 9000.00 dollars and i got so happy cuz me and my husband both recently lost our jobs, and now this...can we catch these SOB....can we all get together and do somethong about this...how did they get our number

I was just called and talked to toaa lady that I couldn't understand, do I asked to speak to someone that was over her, and this guy got on the phone. Told me that it was once in a life time thing and the grant I would be receiving was because in the last 6 months I haven't filed bankruptcy! Have me this #  2024079094 to call right now and talk to a Jason Lee. He us suppose to take my confirmation number CY259, and tell me how to get my $6000.

I received the same call today. It was a women who told me that I have to call this number 202-407-9094 I asked her if they have a website and she  said "no we don't have nothing like that." Then she insisted that I have to cal mr. lee to receive the money!!!! I don't know why those people do that.

I just received a call from a Indonesian lady claiming I have received a $6000.00 grant and she gave me this phone number (202)407-9094 and confirmation # LA2214 to get the money.   Get these calls and emails all the time and they ALWAYS want up to $500.00 to send your money so I tell them to just take the sending fee out of my so called Grant.  Really gets them mad hehhehehe.

I just received a call from number 202-407-9094. Telling me the government  wants to give me a grant for nine thousands dollar. To use  for medical bills or food. The mans name was Richard . Both voices were hard to understand . This was 6:15 pm central time in Minnesota . I'm from Aitkin and on disablity .

Just got a call from them. Thank god I was using my computer already so I could look up the number as soon as he gave it to me. The scary thing is, he knows where I live. We got disconnected and he called me back 2 times even after I called him out about the scam and told him to stop calling me. Creepy!

I just received a call this morning to call Richard Miller at 202-407-9094 with ref # RV 645 they said I was chosen by US Gov. To receive a grant for 9000.00 that when I got to Walmart to rec my cash to call him back at that number. They wanted 250.00 to process the money. I looked the number online and found tons of complaints I knew it was a scam just wish we could do something about these scum bags! And I don't know how they got my cell phone number!

This is such a scam.I believed her for a second but then she sounded very unsure.I kept talking and she told me to call  202-407-9094 lol and the man was so rude!  I asked him "Before i give you the code what's website?" lol i swear he got mad and replied with "give me the confirmation code" hahahahaha

Just received the call. I am a debt collector so I immediately reversed the number and here I am sharing this with you. They also knew my addy and cell #..I didn't tell them anything else. Scam. Scam. Scam. Don't do it willis....Spread the word.

Me to. I probed him and asked him information. He sttd thaf he wrkd for the irs and he is a transition officer. Smh.
