As soon as I answered, they hung up.

I received a call from this number, and I believe they are trying to scam people into giving account information.  The scam claims that $9000 of federal grant money is available to you for being a loyal citizen.  As far as I know, no such program exists.

I just received a call from this number saying that they were with the federal government and were going to give me a grant for $9,000.

They are a scam calling from a fake Washington D.C. number. As soon as I asked which number they called me on, they just hung up the phone.

This is exactly the same call I got what got me is when I said I didn't apply to any grants they said it wasn't school based...yeah that sent flags up. I declined and said no.

Yes, I got the same call today! When I asked for the name of organization he is calling from and his call back phone number, he couldn't say anything and hang up the phone! Be careful! Do NOT give out any personal info to strangers. Government would mail you all the info if that was a true.

Just got same call on my cell phone. They really trick you when that happens because you don't expect a fraud call like every few hours on a land line.

just called my cell phone, offering federal grant money. When i asked who they were and where they were from, they just said "the district of columbia", and kept repeating their offer without any further explanation. The guy definitely had a foreign accent too. Total scam.

I just got called by this number regarding $9K in federal money that I don't have to call back. When he said "You're probably wondering why your number was selected", I replied, "Yes, because I'm on a DO NOT CALL list", he hung up.

Just received a call from this number [+1 (202) 410-2585 DC, USA ]. Woman with horrible accent and loud background noises told me I was eligible for a tax free 9k dollar grant. As soon as I asked where they got my phone number from they hung up. SCAM.

I received a call on my cell phone, but I did not hear it, so there was an indication that I had a missed phone call.  I just googled the phone number, and it sounds like it is a scam when I read what others said.  They did not leave a voice mail.

I just received the call too and I asked where the money came from and they hung up on me.

Just received a call from this number, which I did not answer. As always, I Google an unknown number to see if any information is posted, such as this. If you don't recognize the number, don't answer it! more times than not, it's a scam.

They just called me at 5:22pm Central Time Zone on my CELL PHONE, which is on the National Do Not Call List and as soon as I said Hello, they hung up the phone. I think I will put the number on the reject list and let my reject list deal with them.

Just received a call from this number, said they were from the Dept of (I couldn't make out the name) then they hung up.  

just got a call in Missouri on my DO NOT CALL cell number claiming my federal grant I received.  I asked why at Christmas would they be scamming poor people and he said F... you and hung up.  These people need to be stopped.
