This is a Washington DC number. Caller says he is from the government and that you have been awarded a $9,000 grant. Obviously a fraud I hung up.

Got phone call from (202)411-2641. Displays as "DC, USA" She says that she calling from "Treasury Department" and I selected for one time award of $ 9,000… I asked her for the return phone number, because she calling on my cell phone.
She said, that this is one time deal and I can't call her back… This is definitely a FRAUD CALL.

I received a call from 202-411-2641 on my cell.  Caller ID says DC, USA. I wasn't able to answer it in time so tried to call it back. All I get is a recording that says "We are unable to complete your call at this time".  Glad for the other comments here. Has to be a scam.

I received a call from this number. wasn't sure who it was or where it was from. A timid woman with a middle eastern type accent, spoke to me, Saying that she was from the federal (something) department. she then tried to go on with the call. I interrupted her and asked her what department she was from again she froze then hung up.

Got a call from (202)411-2641, a man with a heavily accented voice proceeded to tell me I could receive $9000 grant from the govt. After going through his entire spill, he then asked for my banking info so I could receive the money in my bank account. I told him that I wasn't giving out any bank info and that he could mail me a check. He promptly hung up. FRAUD!!!

Telephone and email scammers, many communicating from other countries, claim to be Treasury officials promising grants or threatening arrests unless payments are made.  These thieves count on you believing them.  But they’re lying, and trying to steal from you.  Their actions are crimes under Titles 18 and 31 of the U.S. Code, and the Treasury Office of Inspector General is working to stop them.

Got a call from this number from woman with middle eastern accent.  Said US Government (Treasury Department) had selected me to receive a $9000 grant.  This program was going on since 2012 as a stimulus.  I just needed to provide my bank account or a credit card number.   I decided to play along so I asked her to send a check and she said the government decided in 2012 not to do that.  When I asked her to provide me with a prepaid credit card with the money, she got exasperated and repeated I had to give her my account number.  I finally told her no and I was going to report her.  She then said "Report, Okay".

Called my cell. I did not recognize the number, did not answer and they did not leave a message.

I'm assuming fraud. I answered and they hung up. Then got a second call with "No Caller ID". I answered and heard an Indian accent then yet another hang up.
