Comes up as Larie Smith.  First time I was on my other line so they couldn't leave a message.  Second time they only let it ring twice then hung up.

Called but left no message.

Called me and said I had a computer problem. When I asked him what kind of computer I had he hung up

Called. Id larie Smith. No message. Probably scam. Or political.

I got the same thing. First it was larie smith in early february. Now it is just the number itself. They always call around 9 pm. The answering machine is ready to accept a message, but they hang up before it is able to record a sound.

Repeated hang up caller. Says nothing, just dead air. caller ID shows Washington, DC

Caller id is Larie Smith.  6:14 pm est.  Leaves no message as soon as the machine picks up.

The guy told me they received reports that I have malicious viruses on my computer and he wanted to help me fix it. When I agreed (knowing it was a scam), he put another man on the phone who got frustrated with me because my tablet (not windows computer) wouldn't do what he wanted it to do. He put the first guy back on the phone. That guy proceeded to call me a liar. What was worse, was they knew my name. Then the guy started making VERY VULGAR statements to me. He told me what he was going to put in every orifice of my body. Then he told me he loved me, right before hanging up on me.

Called me today,did'nt answer it. I don't know a Larrie Smith,he left no message when answer machine kicked on. BREAKS MY HEART

This is a fraud scheme.  Do not give them any information.  They pose saying they need information to help your Windows computer.  Then if you say "I don't have a Windows computer" they ask if you have a Mac.  Then proceed to say you still need to give them info.  The person on the other end eventually said "we need to kill you" at that point I hung-up.

Typical SCAM, caller ID says "Larie Smith" some guy with an indian accent says he's from the computer department and my computer has a virus and he can help. So I start speaking Chinese back at him and he instantly hangs up...oh darn! :-)

Bomb Threat

Complete scam from call center staffed with Indian (very thick Indian accent, lots of call center noise in the background). They claimed to have identified problems with my computer. When they asked my to look on my keyboard for a windows key and on my desktop for icons (I have neither as I run Linux) they hung up. I just wonder what they would have done (or tried to do) if I was stupid and ran Windows.

Scammer finally spoke after calling twice today. With his thick accent I discerned that he was telling me that there was a problem with my Windows computer. He became flustered when I insisted he tell me which one of my Windows computers was having a problem.

They called twice..... left No message.

Got a call from this number last night at almost 10:00 p.m. Just got back from a long trip and was sleeping. When I picked up, there was some Indian guy who started to say he was from some technical department. Needless to say, I cut him off, gave me an earful about waking me up, and hung up the phone.

Calls very late.  No msg.  Obvious scammer.
